I just had to say this; sitting there in the corner of that dimly lit bar, listening to you sing, I was completely swept away. The way you carried that blues jam, with such timeless elegance under those soft amber lights, felt like a scene from a classic film. The stage - the velvet, the brass, the warm glow - it was pure magic.
Thank you for taking me on a journey I didnt even know I needed
Fantastic and highly danceable tune, Anthony! The energy is infectious, and the mix is crisp and polished just as we've come to expect from you. Brilliant work as always!
Hello Richard
Thank you for your kind words. You know I appreciate your opinion, so there is a beautiful message in your comment. Makes me real glad.
Best wishes, Anthony
I'm genuinely curious about your day-to-day life what you see, feel, and experience because it would help me understand what inspires such a beautiful piece. Your guitar track is truly intriguing and captivating; it carries a depth that feels personal and profound
Hello My brother RichardS, I am retired brother who happens to love music and being retired I have time and a lot of it to do a lot of soul searching and meanings of it all, And naturally music is always my first thoughts.....so it becomes pretty easy for me to take music and establish a mental template and apply it to a track of music and make it a moment. Theres certainly no shortage of music avaliable to blend my improvs to so its kinda simple and ever so rewarding.....especially when I can share it with you good people....thats my joy the sharing of ideas and the music.
Ah yeah, the opening has that great R&B feel though. I love the switch at 0:40 a real soul-catcher there, bud. Youre truly a maestro, Anthony - great at what you do. MY KIND OF TUNE!
Hello Richard
Thank you for listening and commenting on my track. I am really glad you like it. I will now upload a newer version with a smaller intro, some tweaking on the guitar sound (things like its volume, the eq, panning), I have tried to reduce this feeling of a dominant bass (actually I think it was the volume of the 808 mixed with the uno-60 synth which plays the role of the bass sound throughout the song).
I appreciate your words, they are always uplifting.
I hope this version is slightly better.
My best wishes, Anthony
MJ said Blood on the Dance Floor and you came through with No Phones on the Dancefloor!
Loving the rhythm and that smooth, bouncy flow.
The vibe is officially crowned!
Richard you are the Reggae King - but I had fun having a go! Respect to rappers- Reggae is an Art form! Thanks for your kind appreciation and it is nice to have you back on LM
Loving the bass! Ive noticed the quality of most DAWs you guys use here on Loopermanits so crisp. Im tempted to switch soon, so Ive been watching tutorials to see which one suits me best, haha.
Cool piece as always, Anthonyspot on
Hello Richard
Thank you so much for listening and commenting on my music, it is a pleasure to know you liked one of my songs. As for the sound I don't think your productions (which by the way have to do mostly with hardware and not software and this is crucial) lack in quality. The DAWs are truly sophisticated by now and I believe that with a fair amount of money you can get yourself a sound card that support good sound to your works. In your case it is a matter of the mixing console as well plus the recording place that demands a special construction. My sound in many cases lacks the warmmess of physical sounding instruments, it is crisp as you say but it may sound a bit "plastic" in a way. Stay well and keep on making your excellent songs.
Regards, Anthony
I wish I had a house near the beach, where I could sit on a chair overlooking the sea, watch the waves, and listen to their sound while playing this track.
Hello RichardShekari, you know I wish all those things were true just as you said also....the music would be just the right addition to the scene in my opinion.....thank you for giving it a seat at your scene......appreciate the comment my brother.
Hello my friend, thank you for listening of course, I really appreciate that....its a favorite improv for me, but I guess they all are.....thanks again for your time.
Woooh! This is incredible. It took me a moment to realise the languageso cool! The mix is outstanding, with a great rhythm and crisp overall production. You got some voice there, man
Thank you Richard
It is a real pleasure to know you liked the tune. If you think that it is an impressive song, then this is very good. As always, then even better !
Wish you well, Anthony.
Someone needs to teach me how to lay down such amazing tunes on a guitar, I really wish I could play a real one. This is beautiful, Glen. Your heart must be a magnificent garden, filled with colours so vibrant that our eyes have yet to see or feel them. Truly soothing to the soul!
Hello RichardShekari , my brother I thank you for your words and listening of course.....you know as well as I the heart is capable of so many things....fortunately for us music can pour out of the heart and if you'll lucky you can lay it out in the form of life notes that people can understand and maybe appreciate even if just for a little bit.....I do feel or try to play what Im feeling and hope it comes out with some good true meaning. For me everyday is holiday in some small way.....I appreciate your work as well my friend, its all about love and respect.....take care
This is what happens when true professionals take control of the instruments, Dennel. You guys are incredibly skilled! Loving that funky vibe; the drums are tight, and the guitar and synth are perfectly in sync. An outstanding piece, and overall great mix! I AM A FAN!
Hey Richard, thanks for stopping by and checking out my track and for your kind review. And you're right there's nothing like real musicians doing their thing. Yeah, those cats are really talented most of them were studio musicians.
Though I do a lot of my own stuff, I've been reaching out working with other musicians and vocalists as of late to help with my project I hope to release by years end.
This was the first session date with this group of musicians for doing my jazz stuff. There were about three other sessions with other jazz musicians for some other tracks. Again thanks for stopping by to take a listen, most apricated.
And oh no kind sir, after hearing your track (which I plan to listen to again), and your words of wisdom you've departed, it is I WHO THAT IS THE FAN!
All the best Brother.
