This is a very old track of mine Richard, composed and arranged with a different set up, mostly based on hardware. It seems to me contemporary enough to describe the recent period of surrounding wars, always in my mind being the lost souls (its the male chorus
in the song, by the time it starts souls are lost in the battle and they leave in peace, because their love for their country, their families and their freedom is what defines life and death in such a situation).

Well my youth was rather conservative, but with lots of love for music and ...basketball. I did work a lot on my official studies (had a long way to go). I love family matters and I love my profession. Lots of good memories (thank God we lived in peace) but hard ones too with loses of loving persons. I try so much to understand the new era for this freshness you mention that is needed not only in music but in aspects of life like my dearest son or for example the youngsters that I have to train, fully in devotion to our job and its continuation. The more fresh you are the easiest it becomes. There is a way better communication so you can inject needed knowledge, for them to become the next generation.
Yes I do recall warm sentiments from the past, that give rise to a presence with special colors, that I need for my life to be calm. There is where music comes. It is a special vehicle to ride on and feel the excitement of each journey.

We have exchanged some ideas with words and music and I believe it is really beneficial to me as a human being to know that another guy, in another country, with different language and possibly different life recognizes things beyond the surface, things that I guess follow my music just because. Hi, Richard. Thanks for the feedback. So, I agree with you on the vocals. I can take NO credit for those. The lyrics and melody are entirely the work of Salve. It was a really good collaboration, but it took over a year for me to get that track put together, and then I still needed help from Wytse to get the mix right. Worth all the effort, though.
