Appreciate the feedback! Hey, it would be cool if you pointed a few timestamps out because I think I know what you are referring to if so, it was by design. Considering I keep hearing that about this one I may just have to go back and rethink that bit.

Definitely noted, I wanted to do something to switch up what was going on and I thought that perhaps that hit it, but it seems many other shares the same opinion so I may do just that.

Currently, this project is part of a slightly larger project. I'm working on a self-made project that uses UEFN (Unreal Editor Fortnite) to get some practice in exercising my talents. I want to be a game developer someday, but I don't have the money currently to go back to college so I'm bootlegging my experiences by freelancing some projects into a slightly bigger one. I will need 5 tracks similar in nature to this one, as well as a few atmospheric sounds and attempt to make a coherent experience in UEFN. If I can pull it off, I'll start learning to piece my own models together for use in UE5(UnrealEditor5).

I do like most of my older stuff! I wish I saved my old project files; I'd like to go back and update them. I have plans to recreate my first ever VST.

Funny you mention Roman Legions because when making this horde styles modes and games like epic battles simulator was my inspiration!

It’s hard to say if I’ve mastered mysterious, but I do tend to lean into darker themes or very bright and happy themes. When I first got my daw I started off doing horror style music. Been thinking about posting some of that work. Idk yet.

Must be from a modern style MK because when I think of MK I think old school

If I am being honestly, wanting to be a video game developer is what made me want to make music in the first place! I had a dream to make my own game from scratch. Well ever since I started trying I kinda found I had a bit of talent with music. Nowa days I think about going to learn music from a professional instead of just doing it at home and take some lessons to up my game.

Noted, thanks. I'm waiting to clean up the track till I have all sounds in place. Once I'm satisfied with the melody I'll work on that distortion problem. I'm very aware of it's existence.

I've finally updated this track. I'm a bit more happy with it, however still I'm struggling a bit with the melody. As far as the drums go I'm happy with it. Anyway, trying to get that on the edge of your seat has been the challenging part. I feel like I am closer tho. A second opinion would be awesome.

hmm to me it just always sounds like everyone else tracks have more depth and sound more hmm what's the word... Alive? Personality. I guess it kinda stims from the fact I make music just going off my ear. I haven't really adopted a style or really refined my editing and making skills.

Hey thanks for the feedback, I just recently updated the track and did a bit more work to the beats. I wanted to use my own VST instead of picking a random so the drum work it all mine. I'm not very good with Drums just yet. So I hope the changes improved the track.
