I love this kind of Fusion - a kind of world dance drawing on all kinds of traditions and then reinterpreted through digital tools bootstrapping it solidly into a post-modern present. Very cool.
Madness!!
And I enjoyed it immensely.
A very good driven beat and all the cool elements simply flowing through, nothing clashing - which really should be impossible with all those ingredients.
You need to give more individual titles to your tracks - I almost missed this one because I thouhgt that I already had heard it!
You know I'm a great fan of yours, Clindsay .
I dig this new track of yours . Love the way you manage to trigger the listener's mind and always give food for thought through your music . You're a real good musician and producer to me . Thx for sharing,
Carole
Yeah, I have to echo what Mark said, amazing how you were able to seamlessly put all of this together. Ethnitechno might just be the next new genre. If so, you will rule with pieces like this!!!
Nice one, some real nice changes in style and beat, maybe a pad or two of synth sitar would have added to it ( but I'm probably in a minority with this view!)but really well put together and a good track.
best wishes,
Mark/Larry
Indian music are always rich in instruments especially the drums and strings.
Love the arrangement and vocal placements and samples. Don't know what the song is about though! You must be of Indian descent.
Thanks for your comments - I'll try to get a translation. I am not of Indian descent but am fascinated by the breadth of the genre - I take it as a compliment that you thought I was.
I've had the privilege of visiting there on business and encountered the music first hand - I love the breadth of sound and variety of rhythms.
Lots to like here. Where does this vocal come from?
One slight problem I have is that I find the vocal a bit too dry (completely dry?) so would prefer a bit of added reverb. But, without, I guess it gives it a more intimate feeling, which some people do like.
This is an odd little floating thing. Very dreamlike music. Would work well in a fairytale scene. Something quite toy-like about some of those keyboard sounds.
Well done on coming up with something a bit unusual.
Thanks for your comments - I like it when there is critical analysis. The vocals are essentially chopped up EarthMoment loops from one of the Indian packages - I think Bollywood Sounds. I liked the abruptness against the gauzy background - kind of creates misdirection and surprise and intimacy as you suggest.
What I'm going for is layering sounds that are unusual and unexpected - sometimes it works sometimes not. Again thanks.
This one has a bit of a late night...loungy feel....much credit to you for doing one without the customary beat driven approach...It lets all the subtle parts speak for themselves...nice chilled vibe...enjoyed the listen...feel like I`m in some chilled club so I`ll just sit here at the back table for a while...pop the top on a cool one and relax....well done....Ed
Thanks,
Very rough translation of the lyrics which are sung in Hindi and Sanskrit:
Every minute, every breath, its you
Every breath, every heartbeat its you
Variations on above not sure of the last verse
Don't know the Sanskrit in the bridge - pulled from a mantra
Very nice :D I love music sung in languages I don't understand, it has a certain beauty to it. I heard the clicks and pops too. too bad on such a beautiful track.
at around 1:40 theres pops and clicking very displeasing to the ear, no one would listen to this aftrer hearing those pops with a good mind. nice sound though relaxing
Wow!
I can't find words to express the emotions I can feel with this song.
Really, it's hard to explain.
I just can say it's a great work!
Love the blend of sounds and styles!
Well done! :D
thanks - you were the first to listen to my tracks and we have somewhat parallel evolution. I'm still learning but hopefully evolving. Your tracks have steadily improved hope I can meet the standard.

Thanks - coming from you that is high praise indeed. This one is kind of a trifle - fun to do to find unique combinations.

No - this is a combination of loops from a variety of artists that have released it for non-commercial use.

Nice rhythm change in the end.
The best one of your tracks here, so far!
