Play 2 now...
Hmm, I'm actually gonna go in a direction you probably wouldn't expect. Instead of trying to have this be a Dance track why not go in a more Cinematic and Classical route. And there's I'd recommend dropping the drums, adding an extra layer of strings that match that match the bassline in this, and maybe swap out the synthy sounding bass for a matched mix of Cello/Sax/Trumpet. For the horns (if ya add em) do a mixture of French Horn and Trumpet, but have 'em go in a more floating and flighty direction from the rest of the song (think Mozart's style here). For the perc side, add some chimes and some Timpani. Okies, I'm gonna stop now. Later on!

I like this track a lot. Great vocal style. And awesome woodwind hook! Very professional sound as well. Very good stuff. Peace and love, Six

Didnt know where to genre-ize this. Folk-Rock? Pop? who knows, an experiment of sorts.

Thanks for the feedback! :)

Its just the intro I have an issue with. think I should have brought the instruments in separate.

I dunno now, rushed to get it uploaded for comments and came to work. Now I think the bass is slightly out of sync? and I kno the guit-bits are a bit repetative but awaiting longer loops.
What do you think?

Glad you liked it. Have updated Wood Bass riff from Hino so will be able to do version 1.1 tonight or tomorrow. I will take note of the drum volume. My problem is I have no stereo, just laptop and decent headphones with powered bass so its sometimes hard to gauge the levels properly. Let me know when i post it.

It has a really nice groove to it! The drums seem to overpower a bit, but I am definately looking forward to the finished project.

The man himself! Actually Rei this was one of your loops before I mounded it for my own use. Glad you liked it and particularly as its using your talent as its raw ingredients. I look forward to working with you on more specialist tunes and especially your solos. :)
