Nice track fam. you definately got something to work with. at about 1:20 the track got a little more melodic and more sounds were involved at once. maybe you can bring that in a little earlier. be blessed.
For a first effort, this mix is phatness indeed. Great foundation for an MC, too. I love the drum track. The melody needs a bridge or break to give it variation. Great job!

Hey Mos, thanks for the review. Basically i had a drumloop that i thought was sick, and so i just sat around for a few hours listening to different synth and bass loops and then it just hit me, cos i played two loops side by side and it just clicked, added the drumloop and i thought "Goddamn!"..lol..peace

Nice one mate. That's original, it's got a nice groove. I really like when the synth comes in at 1.20. But most of all I prefer the "strings" in the end. What are they?

Levels are a little loud. Other than that I love it. Love that Fast bass line. This is one of the best. It gets you jumpimg. Great drum solo too. This is fantastic.
Gritty rootsy style you've got going here..I love that old Wurlitzer sound,takes me back....a really interesting mix of instrumental elements combining to make a modern sound over the classic Hip Hop beat...cool! cheers planet

Just listened to your rock song. I liked it a lot. Nice guitar sound. Liked the extensive use of the Wah-wah pedal sound too.
For what it's worth, I own one of the original VOX Wah pedals from the 60's still. Maybe I should get it back out...or just add it in with the computer. Anyways, I'll get around to listen to your other songs as well shortly. I have only done 1 rock song so far myself.
