Insomnias company right here! Great production, music and vocals are excellent together making these sounds become as real as the mind will allow. Very interesting song with such clarity my ears just repaired. Thank you for this share. Peace.
Hello DjGadget,
Thanks a lot for listening and commenting in such an eloquent manner :) I like that. Im gonna head over to yor tracks right away and see whats going on there.
Love this sound. I love the minor creepy Trent Reznor like bass-line that drives this piece, then you slowly add elements that soften the edge of that bass. Bonnie's voice is sublime, and your production enhances that. well done !
Hello Crucetus,
Haha Im actually very fond of Mr Reznors work... on several occasions in my happy Uni days I explored how well NIN mixed with Gin. Thanks for dropping by and keep up the good work.
Hey Bonnie,
Im really glad that you like the track. Working with acapellas of a calibre as yours is a joy and pleasure as was listening to the origanal version.
Keep uploading your beautiful voice and tracks.
Ya be a Star !
Hello Womble,

How great to hear electronica (a bit more like intelligent pop perhaps) done by someone with a musical mind and some thoughtful composition...this is really well done AggroCultureMusic.....hell...you don`t need any advice from the rest of this.......just keep doing what you`ve got going on.....had yto smile at your bio...we have followed some quite similat musical paths...although I started a lot earlier////great track....Ed
Hello Ed,
Thanks a bunch for your nice and encouraging comments they mean a lot to me. I will keep on doing what I do and hopefully continue to learn from people like you.
PS : I have that blues track of yours transfered to my mp3 player (how oldschool is that) It's ZEN between client-sessions.
Cheers

Hello Salkizar,
Thanks for listening and yes that girl CAN SING - You can only hope to do the vocals some sort of justice :) Btw I went to listen to some of your work this afternoon - great stuff -as you can see in my commentsthere you taught me a thing or two on mastering - hopefully I'll put that to use in the next tracks to come
Hello Darkreine
Thanks for commenting. I've notice 2 very inspirering things about you : first: You produce great tracks and share them but also you put a lot of positive effort into contributing to this comumnity in the forums and comments sections - I salute you - Thx :)
oh yes...a great vocal indeed but must say you really wrapped it up perfectly with the accompaniment...love the intro AggroCultureMusic...and it gets even better after that....really well done....Ed
Hello Ed,
Thanks for your nice comment - It means a lot to me and also Thank you for sharing "Something Blue" its imho one of the best tracks I've listened to on this site.
Thumps up !
Hello Spivkurl,
Thanks for the nice review i'm glad that you like the track.
PS: Some of your tracks made last night a very loud and enjoyable experience :)
I fully agree with BrillBilly: the song structure is perfect. The arrangement I would say you can only improve the mix/eq, and Billy had a good advice here.
Personally, I would apply different amount of reverb/delay for the quiet parts and the parts where you have more going on in the background.
Overall... wonderful song! Really professional. Respect.
Domenico
PS: I simply love the small vocal bit which you have in the beginning with a lot of echoes
Hello Domenico,
Thanks for commenting and giving me some pro advice. Im currently fiddling around for the first time with some reverbs and levelers on the vocals... and YEP you're absolutely right: Different reverb on the quiet parts is definiately the way to go (just found out through extensive testing).
So hopefully with the advice from the nice Looper-people taking the time commenting and guide the noob Ill be able to upload a version 2.0 soon :D
Hello Amethyst,
Thank you for listening and commenting. I've just been listening to some of your work and must say that praise from an artist such as you is an honour. Thanks :)
Thanks for listening and commenting :). I tend to have some difficulties in deciding when a track is finished but on this one the feedback I've recieved is pointing me towards keeping the structures and focus on eq's and teach myself how to use effects on Pro Tools :D
That has that great old school Eurythmics/Yazoo type vibe!
That was really enjoyable!
The only thing i would do if this was my production, is add more reverb/echo on the vocals to just blend them in more, but thats just what i would do, and in know way am i saying i know better!
Good work,I really liked that,so thumbs up from me! ;)
Hey
I'm so glad that you liked it. Comparing the vibe to 2 of my musical "heroes" is an honour.
Im still a newbie to protools and production and still have some work to do on this track. Ill look into putting some reverb on the vocals and see how that pans out.
So, Thank you for the constructive comment and thumbs up returned :)
