This is sounding brilliant mate. The melody is excellent and you've built around it beautifully with the soloing. The vocal sits perfectly with the track and the mixdown is spot on. It's a shame it's only about three minutes because this groove could have just kept going and going.
Loved it!

Anders, a real nice track, I think the finished track will smash it, really love the use of Farisha's vocals, just one point, I would bring her in a little earlier as a taster! but still a good job.
this was an interesting listen Anders....I just finished doing an R&B composition using Farisha`s same acapella (I likely wont post it this year)...you did a fine job my friend...I always find composing around acapellas a bit of a challenge but isn`t it nice when you find one that just seems to fit what you are doing....great fob...much enjoyed...Merry Christmas...Ed
You are so right. This was just a lucky shoot that her vocal was on the same base key. I had to cut and paste and time shift, stretch and move around a bit to get it to fit into the beat. It's time consuming but it's really nice when it suits.
I'm digging this! This sounds like it would be in a retro game. This remix is incredible. I would totally recommend letting Nintendo check this out. I can vision this being in a retro style Tetris with modern day graphics, y'know? Nevertheless, beautifully constructed! Faved!
loved how catchy the melody is. great work on making it powerful and meaningful while still making it fun to dance to. Loved every second of this tune.
Ursäkta! This is such a nice tune, it has such minimalist elements and yet such a cool riff almost like a guitarist would compose.
great work.
Tusen Tack!

You are so right! I have my old acoustic guitar in the corner of my "studio". I really need to get myself an electric guitar and plug it in and start composing "real" music :)
I'm always impressed with your stuff Anders so I had a feeling i'd like this. You come up with some superb melodies and your layering skills are excellent. There's some really good ideas going on here and the mix quality is great as well. It's got a kind of retro meets new school vibe to it which works really well.
The drop is great and it all flows nicely back together again.
What did you make this with? I want one!!

"Hvordan har du det? looks like Dannish, but I figured it out"
Yes, it is Danish. I used to live in Denmark a long time ago so learned to read Danish OK though not really speak it very well. I can still remember a few phrases though not much Swedish. I just went there for one day in 1990 (Malmo).
I would not have guessed that the vocal sound is "demolished guitar". That's a strange sound.
Cool to hear you're using Superior Drummer now as it's great fun and very powerful. You can hear it all over many of my tracks though a lot of what you hear is EZ Drummer Expansion Packs, which it also plays. I have most of them and am about to buy the new Reggae kit, which looks excellent. They're not very expensive and if you keep collecting them, you end up with so many different types of drumming (in the MIDI files each different pack gives you) as well as the quite different kits. My favourites are probably Metalheads, Claustrophobic, Americana and the Sticks Superior Pack.
There are a good few Superior/EZ users on the site (Valvedriver, Promenade2239, RichieWinn, srbrown7, thehumps etc) so let's hear what you can do with it. It's not such an obvious thing for making dance music so you'll probably now add more of an acoustic drum sound to your style.
Thank you!
The first thing I faced was the lack of non supporting VST interface in Reason. Connecting the solo player with reason was no problem but the problem is that the solo player is taking ownership of the sound card. No problem, so I bought a new sound card but then again i have to map the outbound signal to the other sound card and then sample the signal. That was not the way I wanted to work!
But I'll give it a try!
We are today Tuesday, but a little ray of sunshine in the grey of the morning... Very dynamic and catchy. It is a pleasure for the "swing" to the rhythm of this music. A very good concept.
The piano is broken where?
hey Anders, this is really a powerful track. I love the energy of the mix and the simple fact that I can turn this very very extremely loud. I much enjoyed it! Alex
Anders....this is one hell of a fine dance mix...love the big kick beat & bass..and everything else that just kicks it into gear perfectly...If I did dance music I would want to do one like this..If you cant move to this you are not moveable....fantastic job & really nice production....Ed
