Sure, it's fine to mention me in the track description. I give out a lot of advice and feedback on people's tracks (writing often quite a lot) and occasionally they take it (and let me know).
My suggestions may sometimes be totally useless but I just call it as I see it so it's at least fairly honest. I guess I'm describing what I would do or want to happen but have no idea if the track maker shares much in common with my tastes.
Anyway, I always prefer specific feedback, tips and suggestions to simply "Great job. Loved it".
Unfortunately, a temporary technical problem stops me from listening back to the track right now but I look forward to doing so later.
I see you're a Reason user. Me too (13 years) but I still can't get REs to work, which is very annoying as some look great.
Hi. This is definitely a cool groove and the trumpet has a warm and triumphant feel to it though I guess it's a sample-based instrument.
This is basically a short epic. Sounds like it might be used as a theme tune or for some other titling or outro music for TV.
One problem I have is how dry the drums are. Snare also doesn't ring out. Sounds gated or something. I'd also like the drums to change and get bigger, perhaps move to ride to drive things along, especially as the guitar gets more intense and goes higher around 1:16. Would give the track a big lift there.
But this is a fun short trip that I guess also has a bit of an 80s feel to it.
Probably the best feedback so far! It inspired me to apply some changes. There is a new version out now and I had to mention your alias in the track description, hope you don't mind!
Hey aelmen...this is one extra cool groove of a track...got a lot of what I like in it...enjoyed the ride all the way....great job...keep on...I could use lots more like this one...Ed
Bro!
It was a time since I listened to this one, I had almost forgotten what it sounded like. But you are right, it's good and i might have to start working on this one again.
I'm not very adept at this kind of "syncopated" music, but I must admit here that your concept has pleasantly surprised me .... and I welcome your ingenious work and diversifying.
The Solo harmonies are very dynamic ....
In short, I like what you have done. Yes it's well.
Nice job keeping it interesting, sometimes the problem with chillout tracks is they get monotonous in places, you avoided this with the the great soloing though. Constructive criticism: With a track this length you may wanna do a couple pitch changes to keep it from feeling to predictable. Overall, very good!
What was once.. will be again, with only 12 notes at our western disposal... they will will be dancing to this style once again, 70s 80s 90s, no matter. its good stuff. Mickey
Mickey! Didn't notice this comment until now, sorry for no reply.
Yeah, you are totally right, it's all about cycles and influences and everything will be reused, remastered or something.

Det här är ju hur bra som helst - retro och nytt på samma gång och riktigt, riktigt bra mastrat dessutom.
In other words: Awesome!
Love the horn.
Ja kul att du gillar det! Fasen, bara man lägger lite tid på att få till ljudbilden så blir det bättre.
Hörs!

I'm glad that you like the way the trumpet is played. I'll definitely use a trumpet again in the future.

Like the "game tune style" melody and flow of the tune.
Well done!

I like the panning and stereo effects.
I'm usually not that big fan of panning, and definitely not that auto stuff, but i had to try it.

I can't get rid of the 80's in my compositions. And yes! I've tried but it always ends up in some 80's computer game sound!
