Cool track I can really imagine it in a movie! The drums give the suspense and the melody sounds sci-fi. Short but nice! Dunno why I'm thinking of The 5th Element... Good work!
The guitar samples are rough..for guitar samples. But they sound pretty cool in this. Takin something that sounds kinda iffy and makin it sound good takes some talent. Well done man. I enjoyed this track right to the finish!!
Sweet, a bit like if Men without Hats were starting out in this century. Those are perhaps the happiest synth sounds I've ever heard! Dude, sampled edgy electro-pop! Ain't no shame in using the loops and offering them up recontextualized as sonic collage. Any chance of extending this one out somewhere past 3:00 min? I want to fave it, but it leaves me wanting (yes, this is a blackmail attempt). Shoot me an email, would you? (PS-after review) - blackmail was a joke, and a bad one. I was trying to motivate you to extend it dangling the carrot of faving the track. Still, it's a brilliant piece of work, and I look forward to hearing more creations you make!!
Thanks for the review. I would extent it but I'm not the best at making matching loops to go along with it. I forget who did the loops on looperman, anyways I only did the drums which were quite simple. When you say blackmail, what do you mean?
Whoa - short track, and I was really getting into it too! Yeah man, this works as cinematic for sure. Extended out a bit, it could be 'dance' or 'ambient' equally well. An underlying tension in the sonic choices. Great ending 'note', too. I really dig the rhythms, especially the breaks you've got going on. Nice one.
Needs to be longer, I agree. I locked up on it and began getting frustrated and ended it for now. I find that taking a break from it will help clear my head and get idea's that would better it. Not too bad for 45 minutes of work...lol
