Really enjoyed this one Amadeus127....I found the amount of reverb on the vocal a little distracting (from the lyrics) but thats just a matter of personal taste...nice job on both the vocals and accompaniment....Ed
I really enjoyed listening to this track, especially those wonderful vocals. There is a lot of effects on them but that's what I like about it, it fits the music perfectly. Well done, nice collab!
Hi Amadeus... once again, the vocals are really cool. but the bass ist much to loud. I will put a version of my mix upon soundcloud.com/megapauls_finest in the next days. Pls have a try ...
Whatever the genre here .... what I remember mostly, it's the concepte music, and voice .... although it has some pikes, of saturation on certain passages .... Aside from that, I like this ensemble .... Congratulations to the team that made ??this track ....
Thank you VickyDan. Not really a "team" effort. I guess more of a duo.(unwittingly) When I heard Lonejellifish's song, I was touched. So I just sang a track over it. (Lyrics were made up as I went along.) And that's what it is.
no way that is country. country is terrible. its full of fail and has no soul. this really isnt country. it reminds me of the tracy chapman song new beginnings. it has feeling, takes me on a litle audio trek. the auto tune on the vocals is perhaps the first time i have ever heard it used in a way it didnt ruin a song. it fits well with the openness of the guitar. what did you use to make that sound that plays at 3:10? is that a synth or a processed guitar? i like it a lot. and that guitar is so smooth and filling, the way it sits over the mix, mmmmmm. the congas(or are those bongos) adding that extra layer of sound, and the planned way they are brought in adds a nice touch. im diggin this, very groovy. kudos to lonejellifish as well. awesome song.
LOL. THANK YOU. Thank you StereoMathematics. I know it's not really "country", but since most of the stuff that I do is kinda "undefinable" I like to make people reach.
Loved the vocals here and synth, although my laptop had trouble with the dynamic range.
A problem I have with many of my tracks; easy to fix run the completed track through either a compressor or use a filter to gently clip the upper range.
