Nice flow. You deliver a really good vocal part here. Respect. The only part which is not 100% convincing me is the 2-nd voice in the beginning, the yo-yo-yo-no should be less "clean" IMHO: it sounds too similar to the main voice, I would prefer to have it with a totally different tone (some filtering, maybe some phaser or flanger, not sure) Very good track: thanks for sharing it with us. Ciao, Domenico
Yo! Really appreciate the comment man. I agree 110% with you; as far as the mixing and stacking goes with this, it was a very amateur attempt (I've been set for a while on re-doing it at some point) After spending time practicing on other projects, coming back to this is like ehh.. haha
Thanks for the positivity, hope to see your feedback on future uploads. Peace..
Appreciate the positivity man. Got to keep it short, as to leave you wanting more from me. *haha* Still, I respect your feedback, and I hope to see more on future uploads. Peace..
Cheers man, was a mad beat. Would definitely like to use some of your others, I need to improve with some shit but I enjoyed writing and spitting on this.
HeKler. Apologies for misunderstanding the lyrics. And yes I listened thoroughly!(ahh) I appreciate your wise and thoughtful approach to my misnomer and hold a deep respect for your calm and mature response. I grew up in NY on Long Island. But I now live in Canada, Montreal to be exact. I am as Lilly white as they come(Irish, German), but I have to say I am so impressed with how it is here in Quebec , Race is just not an issue. And it's awesome. The only disparity is do you speak French or English. You live here and you see the silly differences people have are just plain stupid. To me Religion, especially southern baptist evangelical just perpetuates racism in America. After reconstruction in the south, poor illiterate white people were still looking to belong to something that made them feel superior. They chose Evangelical Christian baptists. They provided the social engine and the delusion that they were better than everyone else. This is still perpetrated by the silly ideas of Racism, Homophobia,Misogyny and downright rejection of scientific proof of evolution. Other Religions as well follow a similar delusional path, and occasionally I call them out on it. In this case I was wrong, so I apologize. Let the good music flow! Steve
Yeah you did a nice job, musically, and lyrically (consonants on the beats), but metaphorically I am an Atheist and all of this would not even register on my radar as intellectually sound, so you get 2 out of 3. ;-) (psst, we were not created!)
Yo, hows it going? I'm so glad you're questioning the content (means you listened), but which bar are you referring to? I think you may have misunderstood it, I never say we were created. "Created to build the social condition", if its this bar, the meaning is surrounding the term social conditioning, i.e making people believe their skin colour is relevant to their ability to do certain things, or be whatever they want. I hope this clears it up, if you have any other comments on my lyrical content please ask away, that's what this music is all about. Peace...
This soundtrack made me chuckle. I was bobbing my head the whole time, listening to the words. It all flowed together and the lyrics are pretty chill as well. Nice work.
