There are a few artists around the Loop that I listen to from a learning/education/ideas point of view...and you are one of them Steve...like how to creat the whole vibe with minimal instrumentation..sounds that seem to melt together like they were always meant to be together...a simple progression that has no need be any fanvier or more complex...with those break moments that pause before sailing on to whats next...I think I have been able to clutter my own tracks a bit less lately...but its good to be reminded again...enjoyed this one big time...great job....Ed
This is fine work. Was it made using that Magix software?
I like that organ/pad intro. Great tone.
And then cool bass and drums kick in. Can't go wrong with them!
0:48 we get some lead stabs that work well. Not spectacular but effective.
1:12 high synth with great movement is more spectacular.
1:37 another great (legato) part joins in. You're keeping this one moving along nicely with the additions. And then you drop out the bass, which also works fine. 2:25 bring it back in.
Kind of simple, cool stuff that many more people will enjoy.
Are you playing any of these parts or is all just samples?
No real production suggestions from me. Which means I think this is very good.
nice to find a new track of yours..
thoughtfull , gentle & as U've mentioned a laid back,easy going & relaxed..
thnx for sharing these calm moments...__B
I see I missed this one while I was too occupied to find time for the Loop...Man, this is just top notch in every way Steve...You just can`t listen to this and not get pulled into the whole vibe...really catchy...complex instrumentation ..yet it just flows through those nice chord progs like warm butter......really did enjoy the listen...standing ovation and fav from this old guy.....Ed
Normally when I hear loops put together from purely loops found on looperman they sound like an assault on the ears... Not so in this case. Very easy listening.. Bravo!
Those loops are really from magix? Omg, im ashamed. O:O
Before i find this site, for a full year i work only from magix (i will upload soon some of the acceptable ones :D), but never can made a sounding full with live like this.
OMG, just listening to this. And I can hear it in my head what would send this one over the top. You need a strong bassline that plays off of the suspended chords and moves. That would make this genius. (think bass from Sade Adu like songs)
Steve
Love the piano sprinkled throughout. Has a smooth pulse type of synth that I like. Great instrumentation overall. Very nice, grooves well and piano is a big plus. peace
Oh man I dig this one for sure, has an old school dance feel to it, which is definitely a HUGE inspiration to me. That main synth is killer! I would add a little more volume though :) Nice work sir and keep it up!!
Feelgood one and pure professionalism...smiling and saying hmmm, that's it...Bear's loops are always at the highest level so that's a challenge to get them into the right place but this time I think he smiles too...:-)
Fantastic groovy and the whole track is rolling...:-)
Oh man, just what I need friend! This is the smoothest of the smooth! An amazing choice of loops, and you blended them just right. Can't help but echo BillyDragon's coconut water comment. This song has a fine synergy with my creeper and espresso too. Inspiring stuff, Love it! Fave!
This is sounding really good mate, Love the usage of the acid synth as a chill out lead, it works really well. Then there's the piano which is sounding pretty hot as well.
It's a nice slow builder with some really great layering and arrangement.
I have to say this isn't what i expect from you but it's sounding great.

Verry calm song. All fits good and makes a cool chilly moment to me.
I am only use magix to produce music and never used them samples realy, but in this mix they dosend sound to much like magix loops.
Steve, what a great way to start out my day!! First, thanks for the shoutout in the title, haha. For someone who has only been at this a few years, you have mad skills my friend. An absolutely beautiful track. I'm happy you were able to find a use for some of my loops, and that you put me in the same song with Magix loops (they are some of the best out there). Beautifully chilled, masterfully executed, and marvelously produced. I hope all is well.
It was a very hard thing to do Bear lol you had such a selection of loops and it took a while to get a collection of loops that blended well. There are a few different bpm's mixing in well from your collection and a few of Magix so it was logical to give it the name :)
Thanks for the use of your loops and hope that I can use some more in the future :)
Another great track from the creative mind of El Stevo!
I keep thinking of Johnny Clegg and Savuka when listening to this beautiful tune.
Loving the strings that kick in at 1.47.
Has a sunny and upbeat feel to it. Refreshing like cold coconut water!
