I suppose a lot of our fellow artists will recognize your sound sources Steve...but I don`t as I can`t tell the difference between the sounds from an 80`s synth and one somebody got yesterday...but I sure know what sounds I like wherever they may originate...you`ve got some really great sounding rich ones here (I like those pads that have a bit of a sweep & movement)....nice little progression holding this one together and an infectuous beat...Like it all, especioally that synth part doing the lead around 4:05...brillian job...really enjoyed this one......Ed
Wonderful, fabulous piece of musical art Steve...agree with Ed, you are the MASTER of chill out with your unique 'only you made like this' style...here is no place for critisism, everybody must like this...:-)
I am so happy to see you and Ed supporting me and commenting good things on my tracks, I have been blessed as since being on here i have met some fantastic people its a shame most of you are so far away as it would be so cool to meet up.
This is just too beautiful Steve.
Oh that guitar just carries me away to a better life that we dream of.
And that bassline too was just a perfect match to the rhythm of the whole track.
You been working some Magix too I see. Inspiring!
Billy my man thank you for coming in and listening, I have been listening to your new tracks and magix is very addictive but you mate have cracked it because those tracks are awesome.
I never heard the term "Chillout" as a music genre until I found Looperman and after being around a while I think you set that standard Steve...you get that smooth vibe but it comes with all the production values & right sounds that flow, & evolve & blend and just float you along with them....I understand why some are saying "Longer"...its good listening even as it ends a little before it should....great job(as always)...I know where to stop in for lessons now....Ed
In the short time I have known you, you haven't disappointed, but sadly this time you have.... I just wanted it to be longer! Seriously you have delivered another fabulous piece, I enjoyed it from start to finish with some awesome sounds in there, including a few Mike Oldfield moments. Superb Steve.
The guitar is smooth and dreamy: good!
Nice bass groove (few notes but chosen with taste) and good synth pads.
I think this track could have been a good minute longer: I really enjoyed it!
Ciao, Domenico
This is so calming and brings peace to the distressed mind.
I can just see you doing Tai Chi to this in the early hours of the morning, gently stepping onto the morning dew.
Favourited! This was done on Magix?
Awesome work Steve!
hahahaha more like yoga than tai chi I'm a little obese and on a training spree and have been since before the holidays, may try tai chi once I drop a few stone :)
Perhaps it the flute but as it came in I was thinking "Enigma"....as I listen to this one Steve..I`m just thinking...glad I found the Loop (I had disregarded it as a listening post for a long time)....I could listen to this kind of music..for a very long time when its done this well....kudos to you...definite fav....Ed
Love the progression of this, Great tune Steve, I enjoyed this. Great build it then a minimalist middle section. Tehn you rebuild it all back up again. very chill and very nice.
This is a very uplifting track right from the start! I really like that arpeggio that comes in around 1:28, nice tone for this song! Good solid bass foundation too! Gives me kind of a tribal vibe, which is nice! Quite a feel good track! Thanks for the DL!
Magic work, looking out of the window so see yet more rain pelting down again whilst listening to this, just so soothing and chilled (your track Steve, not the rain!!) The pan flute was inspired. Sunday just got a whole lot better, thanks.
Best wishes,
Mark/Larry!
I like to try and mix different types of instruments into my songs and some times I feel I got it wrong but I just liked the pan flute hahaha
Thanks for listening mate.
