Love this! It's a great mixture of Electronic and weirdness! Which works really well. Love the bass and synths on this along with all the other weird bits that come in and out throughout the track, keeps things interesting. Overall, it has a bit of a sci fi feel to it. Great stuff, I really like it.

All synths handled by Vital.
3 bass tracks, "BS Chord Stack 1" by Woolf on PresetShare twice + "Fine Grain"by SNFK.

Hello TheFrenZ, sounds like a synth get-together....nice percussive effects keeping rhythm and blending quite nice with the party of sounds......good job.

Thanks, glad you like it. It's 15 Vital instances and Sitala for the drum FX-ed by Stochas, Echo Cycles, Lava Reverb and Raum. Echo Cycles takes care of the "dancing" of some percussion elements. Stochas creates random notes for the two "chatter" moments.

I like this composition :D
wall of sound
"To attain the Wall of Sound, [PHIL]Spector's arrangements called for large ensembles (including some instruments not generally used for ensemble playing, such as electric and acoustic guitars), with multiple instruments doubling or tripling many of the parts to create a fuller, richer tone.[5] For example, Spector often duplicated a part played by an acoustic piano with an electric piano and a harpsichord.[6] Mixed well enough, the three instruments would then be indistinguishable to the listener.[6][7]"

Well I didn't use the Spector's technique :) Modern VST instruments blend multiple sound sources to achieve just that. In this track we have up to 5 synths playing different things at the same time and vocals (deformed or not) on top. Reverb effects assist creating the continuous flow of sound (the wall, but maybe I used this wording incorrectly).

Greetings, Now this was interesting to listen to. I do miss some more varietys though and it sounds a bit monotomous for my taste. Still i do like the elements you used in here though. They were prety good though. And it has the potential to become a good song if you choose to. The audio itself is clear enough though which is always good. So keep on creating. And have a good one, Verdi

Thanks for listening, I'm glad you found it interesting. I agree it's a bit monotonous, more as usual. I don't know if the potential will be explored, I'm a "creator" and have a lot of time, creating about 1 new track from scratch per week. Since this track I have the next one ready en 2 in development. I just share what I created for myself and happy when people like it and/or possibly collect ideas from it.
You like to remix this track? You can have the stems, just PM me via the profile page :)

You found some, I guess you didn't want to list them all :) In the first half 3 , in the second part it became part of the beat.
Say "Looperman", pitched up 12 semitones, play it twice at double speed and pan left/right, used at: 1.22, 1.37, 2.07, 3.33, 3.48, 4.03, 4.18, 4.33, 4.48, 5.11, 5.26, 5.56, 6.11, 6.26, 6.41.
Sometimes I fool around and have a bit of fun ;-)

Oh yeah, this is super cool yet again! That little melodic break, there's notes in there that trigger some memory of something else but I can't put my finger on it. Respect to you man, you have a great and unique style. Tumeke!

Thanks for listening, glad you like it. This time I "played" the keyboard for most melodies hence the occasional for this genre untypical slightly off-beat timing, didn't want to quantize to the grid after recording :-).
I made up all melodies (fidling on my Akai MPK mini plus).

Liking this one quite a bit. It has quite a few different little elements to it, which makes it interesting to listen to, imo. Somewhat reminds of playing the Wipeout games on Playstation it's got that futuristic, quirky, industrial edge to it.

Well, I realize from your profile that you are retired, (white-haired grampa making dance music) - just like me. Except, that you almost certainly DO have time to develop your proficiency in making music and, more importantly, have fun doing it. I am 78 years old. Still learning. Still creating, as best I can. More slowly, definitely. But, I have no intention of stopping. Too much fun. :)

Eric

Hi Eric, Indeed, just 9 year younger and most likely some time left on this planet to create many more tracks, just have to find a free site where I can stash 40+ new tracks per year :-) I guess I have to start dropping older stuff here on LM.

Great track, builds up really well. Reminds me of Tangerine Dream at times. The song has a really nice feel to it and flows really well, lots of things going on and keeping it interesting. I like the slight interlude at 4.00 and then it's back to business. All in all a great track, I like it.

Such a groovy and soothing track there. I really enjoyed the vocals and industrial effects. Didn't even realize that song was almost 7 minutes long, it just flew by.
Great work TheFrenZ!

I love this track. Fun, whimsical, upbeat. Love the hypnotic beat and bass. And all the different elements coming in and out. I also like how you use your voice as an instrument in this and other tracks I've heard. Reminds me a bit of kraftwork or tangerine dream or something. Sounds great too in terms of production.

Thanks, glad you like it. In the beginning I picked up the rule "Every 4 to 8 bars a change" to keep the listener focussed, I still try to adhere to that rule. Our voice/mouth can be used for so much more than just speach or singing, I experiment regularly with it, just take serious out of the equation and have fun :-)

Thanks for the listen and glad you like it. For me each track is a journey, I start off with a sound and create a melody, this repeats till I start to get the idea of a song, the basis, from there its starts growing by adding sections, instruments, effects, automation's, vocals. Just like Trial and Error :-)

This is REALLY interesting track, TheFrenZ! Hypnotic bass and percussion foundation, with a really eclectic second layer of SFX, another layer of vocals, and yet another layer of synth melody lines, all weaving in and out. Panning of the various components was really well done and the overall mix was really clear, with all parts having their distinct places in the frequency spectrum. I liked, especially, that you kept a decent amount of dynamic range in the mix, particularly for a dance track. Really enjoyed it.

Regards from Ottawa,

Eric

Hi Eric, glad you like it, thanks for the comment. I'm a jealous of you and some others here on LM who can dissect a song and lift out musical and technical details. I'm missing knowledge and years of experience in the music world, I'm just playing around in Reaper on my laptop for allmost 18 months now. And with my age I will never become an expert like you guys and girls.
Back to the music: Except for the thunder and my vocals, it's all MIDI and this time for the majority the Massive VST. I create my own melodies, drum paterns, automations. I mix my own creations but don't master, I seldomly use compressors, I use limiters where needed to shave off peaks that occur due to sound stacking, I don't participate in the loudnesswar. True peak: -0.3, Clips: 0, LUFS-I: -13.3, LRA: 2.8. LRA could be better but I didn't focus on it. And all of that just for the fun of creating.

Hello Frans,
a friend of mine, who sadly passed away many years ago, was listening to this kind of meditation music all the time. However I was never able to calm me down to produce this kind of slow meditational music for him. Maybe the ADHD thing. However I love this kind of music and very well done! Cheers, Oli

Thanks Oli, and sorry you lost your friend. I listen to Dj sessions most of the time, once and a while when I wake up in the middle of the night and can't catch my sleep again (thinking of the music I'm working on or the response I should write on LM haha) I switch on the radio channel Yoga Flow and a lot of this music passes by, normally good enough to catch my sleep again, else I have to switch to DanceTV :-)
My creation process isn't set before I start, in this case I just began on a simple melody for a pad having some extras at 60 BPM, slowly found instruments and create new parts, no idea what to create at forehand. Trail and Error, the same process I used while programming in the past.
