Hi Glenn, glad you like it. It's my second Ambient creation, and as usual the only goal was to go Ambient. Just started with the bass, next the pad(s) and fabricated the melody. searching for instruments, starting an arrangement and create variations, got some help from my nephew, the bridge in G was his idea. At the end you just have to let you feeling take over :)

Thank you, I'm glad you like it. Yes, it does sound a bit trance-like, because trance is one of my favorite genres, except for the breaks. I've always had a love-hate relationship with trance: love because of the immersive experience and hate due to those long beat-less breaks. How can you possibly keep on dancing without rhythm? My brain can compensate for a lot, but without a beat up to a minute?!

I went in my direction :) As I'm not creating music for financial gain it only has to fulfil my personal taste hence no plan towards a typical (sub-)genre :) Maybe in a few years I get so experienced that I create genre specific, but I guess before that time Alzheimer kicked in and puts an end to it ;)

I checked, Industrial Techno exist for a long time but is supposed to be dark, I thought this hinted towards Dub Techno due to the heavy use of reverb but also no exact match. I create "music" that sounds nice to me and most of the time I find a genre that "could" match ;) I chose Techno due to the use of the Kick drum.

Thanks, glad you like it. It's how my creation process works, fiddle with sounds and create melodies into something I like regardless of possible genre borders I don't know and won't learn :) Thinking outside the box is easy when you don't have boxes to begin with ;)
