Wow. This is certently not bad for your second track ever. Well let me help you a little bit. First thing I think you need to focus on is the lay-out of your track. Now its a very busy track and the dance factor on the whole track is kinda equal. Try to build up to a climax; maybe make breaks if you prefer. Try to use filters to cut off the high passes or low passes now and then. Try to use compression on your claps/kicks/snares to make them more heavy.
In this one you used loads of samples. I should focus on a few ones. Pick the ones you like the best and play around with them. But now it sounds way to crowded. Alot of times: less is more.
At last. You make alot transitions. It's like I'm listening to 3 or for tracks in 8 minutes.
But like said. I can here your talent. And I'm sure you will develope yourself very quick. Keep it coming man! Cheers, Erik
wow thanks for taking the time to give such a thorough review :o) and yes totally agree, track is too long, too many transitions, so gonna redo but like you say, build up more for the dance floor element, and not so long, not so many samples.
So much to learn, but so much fun!
