That is a very kind review EL my friend. Thanx. Glad you enjoyed the track. Making it gave me a lot of pleasure. The smallish elements such as the vocal & guitar do give the track a certain something different. Thanx again.

Some cool ideas here :)

Do you remember Mr Oizo - Flat Beat? Kinda reminds me of that for some reason.. I think it's the bass timbre more than anything lol

What would have added more oomph to the track - a BIG FAT SUB!

Some playing around with filter's might have added a little bit more of a sheen but I really like this :) good job man!

LOL Toonz, as soon as I started on the track it reminded me of that track. Deffo someting to do with the way it sounds me thinks ?. But I had started so had to finish eh ? I like your idea of some serious sub going on. I will be trying something along those lines in the very near future and if I'm happy will re-post an edited track. Thanx for your kind words & review my friend. Respect.

Amazing! Just amazing, reminds me of the old 90's tech house tracks they had back in the day...Would you mind if I remixed this track? I do use FL Studio, so if you can't send me a FLP, then all is understood, thanks though!

Enjoyed the track a lot!

Cheers - Mirza

Thanx for the reveiw Thyme my friend. I'm glad you got my original idea for this track. Old reggae vinyl B.sides dub version was what I had hoped to acheive and as you say lots of places in the SW & W postcodes would have had shops, pubs, clubs & sound systems playing those sort of sounds. Cheers mate for listening and taking time to enjoy

Thanx for listening & reviewing. Much appreciated my friend. I would be gratefull for your advice on tweaking things, this isn't a genre I would usually work with and it's all part of my learning curve. Thanx again mate and respect to ya

I absolutely adore this kind of DnB - I'm guessing you do too otherwise your track wouldn't of ended up like this lol. The best example artist I can think of that does a similar style is LTJ Bukem.... absolutely immense talent. lived a few streets away from me actually ;)

I would of liked to see a snappier kick drum in a more sort of consistent pattern and there seems to be a bit of an overlap in 1 or 2 places with the hats but aside from that this is friggin awesome :) fav'd
visionarysoundsystem
visionarysoundsystem replied Unknown
Thanx Toonz. Kind review to say the least and to be compared with someone like LTJ B is praise indeed. This isn't a genre I would normally attempt so please forgive me the odd blip lol. I will take your advice and at some stage attempt a remix and try to use your suggestions. Thanx for listening & reviewing. So much appreciated from someone like your-self that makes such good sounds. Respect my friend

whoa........ There really is never a dull moment in this at all. I'm definitely up there with RotenBeats saying best house track I've heard on this site :) this is very pro...

I thought I'd drop by to see if I can learn anything for the track I'm working on and I can see there's oodles that I haven't been doing that I should definitely be *trying* to emulate.

You're my new role model :) lol

LOL Toonz I am not worthy ! ! ! Thank you my friend for such a fantastic review and such high praise. As for the best that is for others to say but thanx anyway for such positive vibes. Just to know people have listened and reviewed is enough for me but to recieve something so glowing from someone like your-self whose music I enjoy, listen to and admire is fekin will chuffing to a lil ole dude such as me. Thanx again mate, you have made my day

This still qualifies as DnB! I think why the 90 BPM works is that you are using it at double time in the case of some of the percussion. So it feels like 180. Very creative use of the vocals! This is a nice ambient style of DnB! The mix sounds pretty good to me overall, but I might bring out the bass a little more. Great work!

visionarysoundsystem replied Unknown
Thanx for the review Siv, very kind. I did try to "up" the bass by sending it into the sub-bass zone but my CPU was being eaten up and I was suffering a Rice Krispies moment with my speakers (snap, crackle & pop) ! Thanx again my friend for taking time to listen & review so positively.

A discrete touch of psychic behing good electro rythm... Bass in deep house style... loud enough to penetrate our stomach... Always moving, no static moment... I'm just on my end with your brutal exit (I'm a DJ, I like long outro to have good time to cooldown down a few seconds if necessary :))

Good job :)
