truly unfolding and folding convolutions - my skull is a petal set on synaptic overdrive by this wicked set of changes - the intervals are purely alchemical and the effect is affective in the most groovy and organic way - extreme sounds organized extremely realistically - happening. like now.

I personally a more straight forward style, still, like this one, has a somewhat funny and a tad chaotic feel to it while also being quiet relaxing.

Hi Ishi, good to see you again my friend. Thanx for the lovely review. DnB is my secret vice. A genre I really enjoy but it is also one in which I can struggle to produce a half decent tune in. Had a bash at it with this one and am quite happy with it but I need to remix a bit as I went a little OTT with the left to right to left to right panning in some places. haha good ol acid loops. I hear alot people using those, as i have plenty of times in the past. They have some quality stuff. Great use with them though, you really chopped em up! Thought the track could of had a more a forward playback to it though, changes up a little too much for me. Couldn't stop and vibe with it more. But interesting sounds used! and of course the good ol acid loops! peace out!

Thanx for the review my friend. I got the loops from Music Radar and just kinda patched 'em together. I wanted to make something stop/start almost breakbeat, something that didn't quite gel and that had that ole skool freeze feel to it. I really appreciate your comments. Peace, Love & Justice.

You're welcome V. I am honored you asked me to collab, but right now mate? I have A LOT on my plate right now with family obligations and whatnot. very long story.

Also? I am taking a LONG break from music as it seems to me that public service is just not paying off, and the industry in general just makes my stomach turn. So I am going to focus on my poetry right now.

However, like I said mate it's an HONOR that you asked. I will however, continue to visit this sight and support certain artists like yourself.

I dunno about being a 'fantastic house artist' but it is a genre I love and feel extremley comfertable working with so hopefully that comes across in the house tracks I post up? Spiv my friend thanx so much for reviewing this track. I'm always a touch nervous about posting up my experiMENTAL stuff. Guys like you work outside and within and beyond genres all the time and have actually given me the confidence to try and work differently myself. When I get a positive review on this side of my work it gives me the greatest pleasure. OK my experiMENTAL project maybe just a touch pretentious but a good review makes me want to get better at "messing" with sounds. Thanx again mate. I have a couple like this almost ready and a couple I'm working on and kind comments from 'experiMENTAL Loopers' like you makes we want to strive harder to make tracks that work outside of the "norm". Hey Vis, I know you have this one up for a collaboration, but I have to be honest and tell you I think it stands on its own pretty well. This song would work really well in a film or short video.....perhaps a car commercial or something to do with the Tour de France. The mix is really nice, love that warm bass in this one.

Another exceptional effort. If someone does add something to it, I would love to hear it. Very nicely done and I had to grab a download. Thanks for that.

So far no definate offers to collab. I want to take this track a touch further and will possibly have to do so my-self. Just waiting for the inspiration to do so. I`d call it experimental Vis...the kind of stuff that is just fun to do and conjures up pictures for the listener...The intro reminded me of morning at our country B&B last time we were back in N Ireland (near my old hometown...the birds...a rooster crowing somewhere (everything but the dog)...& from there it went to driving like crazy around those little narrow roads on the Antrim coast (wrong side of the road for me now) with the radio on....Ha...good stuff mate...interesting in the best of ways....keep on....Ed

It was my take on, mainly, England but also Britain in general and all the celebrations that have taken place so far this year (Queens jubilee, Olympics etc). There is a dark side to the green & pleasent land I live in but also a vibrant & positive side. LOL the one thing I did leave out was the rooster crowing. Time to go and find one and add it to the mix. Thanx again mate for your kind & supportive words.

great track dude, just the right side of catchy/annoying if you know what i mean, lol.

A couple of things i did notice, it could maybe use a quirky perc/sound fx/ breaks at the beginning then dropping into the bass after 30/45 secs or so.
It is very low end light.. a nice sub sine side chained to the kick would make this track next level, and introduce a huge amount of bounce and sound pressure to the track.

Great ideas fella i loved it

Hiya Spudsy. Thanx for the "heads up" on this my friend. I will try (what I understand of the technical advice lol) the things you have suggested. This weekend I will give the Missus the proper hump and revisit this, try remixing and see what I can end up with. I appreciate the catchy/annoying line as that was what I ended up trying to do with this track. An aural Marmite moment ! I haven't danced in YEARS, however, I can remember back in my 20s and going to many underground clubs and I did dance at one time. SO I still have an appreciation for "Dance" music. Good work here I enjoyed this. Thanks for sharing...

turbulent and darkling - and so very far from plain - vivid and moon-blanched setting - small faces meditating on that stony beach - an empathic achievement of the finest kind - def a theme for the second Victorian age (circa now) - utmost respect and inspirations! 1000 favs bc.

Hey Vis.....now this has a real summery sound to it....the kind of upliftinf stuff we could all use more of...hope you find the kind of collab you are looking for...us old guitar guys aren`t verty good on the electronic/dance stuff(speaking of myself of course) but I think you have done a couple of things that invite a collab on this one....you have left some room for anyrhing from vocal parts...to keys...etc or a bit of a contrasting melody.....and just as importantly you haven`t slammed the whole thing with a brick wall limited to push the loudness as the expense of dynamics....its about right & would fit nicely with well mixed tracks....good on ya.....keep on & all the best....Ed

So far I've only had one message from a fellow Looper asking to put vocals on top but haven't heard anything further from them.

This is terrific stuff - I really enjoyed listening to this. Reminded me a little of late 50's style pop. Very good indeed. Super instrumentation. Love that guitar picking out the single notes in the background and that organ is just perfect. Bravo. Very good. I love it. Great track. Very carefully put together and a brilliant end result.

When Mrs Vis first heard me working on this she said she was reminded of one of her all time heroes Richie Valens! I thought more Animals or Sam Cooke"ish"?

good blues going down here VSS...its always on my listening menu and I enjoyed this one a lot....good for you.....Ed....easiest way to control levels is just to...insert a volume envelope on the particular track and click along the line anywhere to raise or lower volume...or depending of what DAW you use ..just use the volume automation feature on the track........If you dont have that next best bet may be to just pull the level down & insert a compressor...slam it fairly hard (but not too fast on the attack) to all ow it to work as well as it can in the mix.....the way you EQ the organ will make a big difference on how well it is distinguished in the mix too (I would do the eq first, then check on volume automation)

Hiya Ed, hope all is well with you & yours? Thanx so much for your positive review & helpful advice mate. I really appreciate you taking time to do this. I use a mixture of Magix DAWS. Premium 17 to work in and MX Premium to finalise, edit & mix. The compressors are limited but I will try again & there is a volume automation tool I can use. I have also been offered advice on using a envelope tool which the program has. When I get some spare time I will re-visit and take the advice on board. It sure won't be a chore lol 'cos I have a sweet feelin' for this track, as does the good lady Mrs Vis so I can do it through speakers rather then 'phones. Thanx again my friend. Your words inspire me.
