Once more a great track, with excellent sound and musical performance.
I really enjoyed listening to your improvisation the whole time, it never got boring.
I wish you the best Anthony.
Hi AnthonyA....I again appreciate your time and words my friend.....i have a lot of respect for you and others and think it's benefits everyone. Thanks again for listening to this track.
Hello VintageNights.....my friend Hank Marvin is way past my skill level...he's one in a million, I myself play thru feel of the chords and the story I'm creating as I play.....it's hard to explain in a way because there's no real method other than those mentioned....I try to play with a sense of true feel if that makes sense. I look for those notes that reach a little further. I'm grateful for your time and thank you for listening.
NateJMusic....Man Im just a guy who likes to pick up guitars and try to improv with music of all kinds. I use some musical basics and pretty much nothing else and improvise my way thru everything I upload. I have tons of work i intend to share if possible so we'll see.....thank you for listening it's appreciated.
Hello VintageNights....your thoughts are greatly appreciated of course....I listened to this loop by Jackla and right away sit down with one of my Ibanez acoustics and did this in one improv and recorded it as you heard it. There are some small pieces of music such as this that give you an idea and it can take you exactly where you want to go......this is one of those for me......glad you enjoyed it.
Richard my friend I'm a lover of music in all forms and genres... some more than others of course but music is such a healer and I only wish it continues healing us all. My abilities are not from technical skills but from just trying to express what I'm thinking when doing these improvs. A little fretboard knowledge and such helps no doubt but that's about how gifted I feel....I very much appreciate your words and thoughts.....and definitely wish to upload the tons of improvs I have.....the jury is still out on that. I'm really enjoying your work so keep it coming my friend.
I'm always amazed by people that can play like this. About all I can do is knock out some heavily distorted heavy metal riffs one at a time for the sake of recording and piecing together a track. I've always wanted to be this good, but my attention span for learning it is severely lacking. And when I do have the focus, there are so many interruptions, I still can't focus. You know what I mean?
Anyhow, this isn't about me. This is about a beautiful acoustic piece that you have performed. I read in one of your replies to a comment below that you improvise everything. That's damned impressive.
I can't put my finger on why or how, but this almost has a bit of Latin flavor. The melancholic nature of this is touching. A very emotional piece. I'm guessing there was someone in mind while you played this. Either someone that you care deeply for, or there's a longing for them, and this is your confession from a distance.
At any rate. Beautiful piece, and thank you for sharing.
Take care

Hi JohnM....appreciate you listening to this track....have not uploaded but a couple of things I've done but that'll change....thank you again my friend.
after listening to it many times, i now have a strong sense of the track and its melancholy. the sounds are beautifully emotive, with a clean recording and exceptional overall production. the fact that it was all improvised and played in one take is impressive on its own. i'll keep listening and thinking about how to play along with it - there's plenty of space, making it perfect for practicing soft, ancillary playing. wonderful acoustic track, thanks a lot for sharing!
all the best,
savino
HiDoudei.....i will say this to you, first there's nothing you can't do if you try hard enough....I'm not a guitar player but someone who loves to play the guitar. I don't read music and improvise on everything I play. I have learned a lot by listening and just absorbing everything I can from the so many available tools and just the love of the instrument....this particular track was really easy to map out a nice story to improvise. I could see you playing it or making some nice twist yourself. It's all from the heart for me, you hear a nice short melody and just imagine a short line or two to complement it and before you know it....it's your piece of music...I very much appreciate your listening to this track and have so much more to upload. I have tons of things I've done with music tracks that I would like to share but done know if it's possible....so we'll see. Again thank you and keep playing.
I just listened to your acoustic piece, and I really enjoyed it! Im not a guitar specialist, but the way you played was captivating. The melodies were beautiful and really drew me in. Great job! Looking forward to hearing more
Sorry Richard about late reply...thanks for checking this track out. The title to me saids it all. To me it's a small journey into the other side of nothing and how isolated and lonely that might be....appreciate you listening and have tons of other material to upload later....thank you my friend.
Hi Richard....I promise you im not a guitar player like i wish I was, but I've always believed you can do so much if you try hard enough....everything i do is improvised and I'm not ashamed to admit it....I play just from the love of the instrument and try to learn as much as possible and absorb and use what I learn....learning the fretboard is key and opens up many possibilities and opportunities to create. I appreciate your words and listening to this track and have so much more to upload. I also look forward to more of your work as well.
Good evening my friend from Greece. I listened to your piece a few times to get a better "picture" in the comments and I want to do something about it. The melody is very good, great mood, nice tone in the playing, but technically there is a serious problem in the mixing of the two instruments. It's a shame, maybe you should watch it again, so that the piece can be highlighted properly.
Hi Beatjazz.....I appreciate your comments and listening to the track....I agree the second volume could be a little more uplifted....it did sound a little minimal at recording but I went with it......may to address. I do thank you again for your review.
David i do appreciate you listening to this track.....I only wish I was a true player, I've admired the guitar for a thousand years it seems......I just never took the time to really learn. But I never stopped trying to navigate around some fundamentals which help me to enjoy a little success these days. So I like to tell folk I'm not a guitar player but I love to play like I am......if that makes sense. Again thank you for your listening.
