My reply to your first comment was a little jacked....would not let me finish....but anyway my friend I thank you for checking it out....I'm not a guitar player just a guitar lover.....really from way back. Believe it or not I improvise all of this from start to finish....I've learned the fretboard pretty well but allow the feeling to dictate the notes I play. It may be the harder way of playing but it's what I do.....I do appreciate the heck out of folks like yourself who are very talented and love to listen to your creations....so keep it coming....thank you again brother.
Man....this makes me want to get my acoustic out and play. Guitar was the first instrument pcked up, at 5 yrs old. Then throughout my teens, I was convinced I was going to be a rock star lol. I was in a few bands, one really good one. But we never played anything as pure as this. I wouldnt have understood it back then. But as a person gets older, sometimes their soul just craves something its hard to put a name on. That something is exactly something like this. Bravo man. Im moved. - Aaron
This was a very pleasant listen. Beautiful phrasing at times and a constantly wandering melody.
I did not hear a recurring theme or repeated section. I believe a tiny bit of compression would be beneficial and a few initial notes seem to have their transient cut off and begin with a kind of swell. Sounds like an editing issue and not including the first pluck of a phrase. Sounds really good and I enjoyed it!
Hi Evisma....appreciate the listen and comment. I think your comments are spot on my friend......I will say I agree so much with this because of the fact I recorded this entire track once. I improvised from start to finish playing along side a loop. My intention was not to even upload it but decided it was decent enough to do so. My other track uploaded was done the same way. Of course future uploads will be mastered a bit better but these 2 I let it fly. I again appreciate your thoughts....very valuable and I thank you.
Hey my brother....appreciate the listen and thank you for your thoughts....what would we do without a little music everyday?.....I have no clue but let's keep it coming.
Gorgeous playing - the interplay between guitars always creates such wonderful depth and interest - even somewhat when the playing is not so great (as in my own) - but here the playing is exceptional and beautifully recorded, balanced and produced.
Your comments are very much appreciated , sometime it's the small things that stand out the most in music and it's possible by anyone if you try....im still learning the fretboard and it's possibilities....we need music in our lives more than ever.....keep playing my friend.
Thanks for those kind words my friend....we share a love of music in all it's possibilities. There so much to come from people such as yourself and other members of this site.....glad to be a part of it, look forward to more of your work as well.
I appreciate your comment very much...it's the feeling that make it possible, the guitar can say many things....I do my best to express it...thanks again.
I've listened to both of these tracks, a couple of times each. Admittedly, that was while I'm working so they didn't get my undivided attention. But for all that, they are both beautifully played and produced. I am highly envious of your feel and technical proficiency! And it is so good to hear more acoustic, human music here amidst so much over-produced stuff. By the way, my acoustic is an Ibanez too. Don't' remember the model but it is a large bodied, solid top thing. Bought with a tiny bit of money I inherited from my German grandmother 30 or so years ago (when I was in my 20's). I call it Berna after her. It has a nice sound but the action is too high now. I need to try and get it fixed up. Still has a nice tone though. Anyway, keep em coming. Like Dimestop I sometimes attempt to sing so be careful. All the best, Zoot.
Hello Zootman....of course I appreciate your post very much, I'm just a lover of music and feel pretty much through everything I play. I'm not a true player....I pretty much have taught myself enough to express what I feel through guitar practices and techniques but mainly it's the feeling. Thanks again for your kinds words. I do favor Ibanez acoustics as well as electrics....have several hollowbodies with the thinline body. I do believe the acoustic guitar has ability to express without being as loud as its electric counterpart.Theres definitely a place for both....just depends on the individual i guess. I do like them both and will continue to experiment. Once again appreciate you and until next time.
Now this was a very pleasant piece to listen to. A nice piece of accoustic art indeed. I really like this one. Its very soothing as well. And i can appreciate some relaxation and lay low music. So yeah one for the favourites indeed. And thank you for making this beautifull song. It has been very wel executed. Keep on creating & have a good one, Verdi
Hello,
it is a nice improvisational acoustic track. Unfortunately the second guitar part (the accompanying one) is not heard well possibly due to technical reasons. Anyway, its message as a musical piece is recognizable and I liked it. I have to say I 've listened to your other track too and I enjoyed the sound so much (excellent guitar and playing). Well this is the real thing and is so beautiful to listen to
Best wishes, Anthony
Brilliant, bloody brilliant. This performance is top quality, absolute high class, more than pro. Feeling, technicality and sound are both lift the production out from todays trash. Thanx for the upload, instant fav.
Fistbump,
Danke
Danke....you are too kind, I very much appreciate your words, my love of music is a lifelong love and feel we all have something to offer. I play what I feel and it comes a lot easier that way....for me anyway. Thanks again for your kind words.
got me bro straight up first string, i love accoustic guitar, the most beautiful and calming of any instrument, i love piano too but a guitar especially with a male or female singing and softly delivered is simply bliss to my ears, great playing and a fantastic sound which the Ibanez is renound for, its super f#cking cool looking to, excellent, please share more of your craft bro, i even feel i could write a good song to just guitar and deliver it emotionally, keeping my eye on you for all the right reasons glenn :))
Appreciate your craft as well my friend....I truly believe we all have something to say as well as something to play if the moment is there....I never learned to play like I wish I could have but never lost the love of guitar...so I play on and appreciate what I can do. What you do is pretty special and hope you produce produce produce. It's great for all of us. I'll do my best to share as well, do your thing my brother.
I have listened to both of your tracks. Of course Lifetime was recorded in a better way and the sound is much better with nice melodies coming out of your guitar. Very well done
Best wishes, Anthony
Thanks Anthony....my recording is pretty much the same except for a little more decay and fxlevel and tone here and there. The loop on other side of nowhere was rather short but quite intriguing to improvise to. I appreciate you listening to these tracks and have more to upload soon....take care amd godbless.
