I just listened to your acoustic piece, and I really enjoyed it! Im not a guitar specialist, but the way you played was captivating. The melodies were beautiful and really drew me in. Great job! Looking forward to hearing more
Sorry Richard about late reply...thanks for checking this track out. The title to me saids it all. To me it's a small journey into the other side of nothing and how isolated and lonely that might be....appreciate you listening and have tons of other material to upload later....thank you my friend.
Hi Richard....I promise you im not a guitar player like i wish I was, but I've always believed you can do so much if you try hard enough....everything i do is improvised and I'm not ashamed to admit it....I play just from the love of the instrument and try to learn as much as possible and absorb and use what I learn....learning the fretboard is key and opens up many possibilities and opportunities to create. I appreciate your words and listening to this track and have so much more to upload. I also look forward to more of your work as well.
Good evening my friend from Greece. I listened to your piece a few times to get a better "picture" in the comments and I want to do something about it. The melody is very good, great mood, nice tone in the playing, but technically there is a serious problem in the mixing of the two instruments. It's a shame, maybe you should watch it again, so that the piece can be highlighted properly.
Hi Beatjazz.....I appreciate your comments and listening to the track....I agree the second volume could be a little more uplifted....it did sound a little minimal at recording but I went with it......may to address. I do thank you again for your review.
David i do appreciate you listening to this track.....I only wish I was a true player, I've admired the guitar for a thousand years it seems......I just never took the time to really learn. But I never stopped trying to navigate around some fundamentals which help me to enjoy a little success these days. So I like to tell folk I'm not a guitar player but I love to play like I am......if that makes sense. Again thank you for your listening.
What I know is that I listen to your guitar for as long as you play it. You can keep your audience with warm feelings for your music, so you can be on a stage improvising as you say, and no one would be out of your world. It is natural but not without practice and time dedicated to playing and understanding harmonies and scales and other things related to musical theory. I am a fun.
Best wishes, Anthony
AnthonyA my friend, you are to kind but I do very much appreciate your thoughts and as well your music.....we surprise ourselves when we try hard enough to make that conscious effort to express.....music to me is the best way to keep a record of your inner feelings about any and everything....my words to RitaJustRita are pretty much the same thing....music has no age just a beginning and ending until the next episode....let's continue to experiment and do what we do with respect to all.
My reply to your first comment was a little jacked....would not let me finish....but anyway my friend I thank you for checking it out....I'm not a guitar player just a guitar lover.....really from way back. Believe it or not I improvise all of this from start to finish....I've learned the fretboard pretty well but allow the feeling to dictate the notes I play. It may be the harder way of playing but it's what I do.....I do appreciate the heck out of folks like yourself who are very talented and love to listen to your creations....so keep it coming....thank you again brother.
Man....this makes me want to get my acoustic out and play. Guitar was the first instrument pcked up, at 5 yrs old. Then throughout my teens, I was convinced I was going to be a rock star lol. I was in a few bands, one really good one. But we never played anything as pure as this. I wouldnt have understood it back then. But as a person gets older, sometimes their soul just craves something its hard to put a name on. That something is exactly something like this. Bravo man. Im moved. - Aaron
This was a very pleasant listen. Beautiful phrasing at times and a constantly wandering melody.
I did not hear a recurring theme or repeated section. I believe a tiny bit of compression would be beneficial and a few initial notes seem to have their transient cut off and begin with a kind of swell. Sounds like an editing issue and not including the first pluck of a phrase. Sounds really good and I enjoyed it!
Hi Evisma....appreciate the listen and comment. I think your comments are spot on my friend......I will say I agree so much with this because of the fact I recorded this entire track once. I improvised from start to finish playing along side a loop. My intention was not to even upload it but decided it was decent enough to do so. My other track uploaded was done the same way. Of course future uploads will be mastered a bit better but these 2 I let it fly. I again appreciate your thoughts....very valuable and I thank you.
Hey my brother....appreciate the listen and thank you for your thoughts....what would we do without a little music everyday?.....I have no clue but let's keep it coming.
Gorgeous playing - the interplay between guitars always creates such wonderful depth and interest - even somewhat when the playing is not so great (as in my own) - but here the playing is exceptional and beautifully recorded, balanced and produced.
Your comments are very much appreciated , sometime it's the small things that stand out the most in music and it's possible by anyone if you try....im still learning the fretboard and it's possibilities....we need music in our lives more than ever.....keep playing my friend.
Thanks for those kind words my friend....we share a love of music in all it's possibilities. There so much to come from people such as yourself and other members of this site.....glad to be a part of it, look forward to more of your work as well.
