Grooooovetastic MIM4E sits in there beautifully and sways another gem funny thing I was almost expecting a Carlo's wail towards the end, but it didn't need to. It's grrreat!!
It's a treat that she shares her voice with us.
I had a pretty decent solo in this but felt it took away from the groove.
thanks for listening/commenting,

One of the first things I wanted to do when Da Loop came back was to revisit yampaja, Betancourt was on my holiday playlist and still love it and have been trying to add it's flavor in to my own playing. You make amazing music, love the melody and motifs in Almost, music to uplift my day.
Fantastic track! Love the sounds you've used the melody line is right up my street - I would fav this if the facility were available. Thanks for the download - I'll enjoy this again...
I love the feel of this - It goes without saying that Musicizmee's voice is superb! but what a great context you've set it in! Super job on the guitar!!!
nice samba feel Yam. reminds me of the jammin in the parks days where you could come to hear some good relaxin sounds and maybe some things you could relate to. clean recording.PEACE.THE MACK MAN OUT. Good AX work.
Simply astonishing blues visionary and inspirational...I'm still shaking my head in disbelief of how good Betancourt is. Much clapping and bowing in not worthiness yampaja. Thank you for making the download available
Trust me your sense of space and phrasing make this like a prequel to Robert Johnson or blues from the future it's very special and I'm playing it all the time still shaking my head, wow!!
Great track Yampa my friend. Got a jazz groove/sound to it but you can feel the blues influence. You have done the vocal sample proud indeed. Fantastic percs & sweet guitar work. Very nice piece of work
Very nice and laid back piece. I could definitely hear a bridge and a part 2 to this song, as it kind of begs for either a key or tempo change to compliment the nice sounds you already have. I like the way all the instruments work together on this one.
Sounds pretty cool with the Sitar sound as the lead.
The background fits in well I think. Guess you would call it an Ethnic tune. I have never done such myself.
Would be nicer ...to me anyway's...if other instruments could have taken over the lead part here and there. Would make it a little more interesting I think.
Anyways, Good job overall and thanks for uploading.

Awesome, very nice groove. The bass is dang tasty, not to mention the rest of the guitar work. Ever think of throwing a key change in? Perhaps where the ending is? Just throwing it out there.
have you seen that documentary about a zen monastery football team?
arr, i can't remember the name of it but that's where this is taking me and i will find it and report back. A totally gorgeous track.
j.a., brother i'm late to table, slower than Betancourt on the uptake - my compensation is there's lots more to explore on this page

It's not that good is it? Really it was an accident.
My best stuff is accidental or serendiptitous. Hmmm
Not sure.

It was fun working with the vocals. I closed my eyes and stomped my foot for both rhythm tracks.
