Makes you feel that the satellites are coming alive and expressing their disgust at the way we live. Hard beats, fantastic glitch. I can well imagine this as a backdrop to some action on a sci fi offering as the troops ready themselves to take down the satellites. Ok, back from fantasy land now and would like to congratulate you on the atmosphere this track exuded. Keep it up Cyber.
More great chill out vibes from you!...I really dig those soft vocal like disturbances in the background....adds a lot of mystery to the piece....very fitting title because I feel the emotions emitting from this track, well done in achieving that....keep up the fine work brother!
I typically wouldn't go out of my way to listen to cinematic. I'm usually a fast paced house nut - but this has slowed me right down to a virtual snail pace.
I kinda get images of being under water seeing all these creatures go about their day in no particular hurry with a beautiful and serene back drop - which this track is :)
I believe everyone has already said everything,... the *only* thing I would have done differently is to transpose the piano one octave up to give a bit of a twinkle, and like Phyrius says, give it a bit of stereo widening..
I disagree with what he said about percussion though,.. not required in my opinion.
ok I am gonna be harsh here but I know you get me enough to understand were I'm coming from..
the stage is set nicely and you do deliver on many levels.. for me the bottom end needs to go up on your post effects EQ on your master channel nothing drastic just would like to feel those lows as well as hear them...
I have to say I kept waiting on that next element from about 2 minutes onwards ... a lofi kick and hats loop or something of that nature a textured rhythm almost..not a recognised drum but still recognisable as one...
the piano is beautiful for me you just need to add some stereo to it ... you can do that with some really really gentle panning brother and some slight reverb.. maybe even a delay to add to the length a bit..
where did you get that sfx? sounded like a tv on in another room being recorded... super good..
but having said that some very nice stuff I really enjoyed it...
Hey my friend, where have you been at? Thanks for stopping by and checking this track out.
I've always welcomed your technical input, advice and support because it's helped me so much, So, I gladly take your comments on board.
The sfx, is pretty much a hybrid of different sounds I recorded over a random audio snippet I purchased a while back, mashed through Audacity (man I love that software).
Really glad you enjoyed it my friend (off to see if you've added anything recently) Many thanks.
Love those whispering voices!!!
What a great sample that is...
In combination with the music I think I'm at 3000ft on a mountain... this touches me!
Ever heard of Vangelis? on of my favorite synth composers!
This sounds like Vangelis, very classical!
Hey TCAS, I'm deeply honoured by your comments and certainly unworthy of such praise. Thanks for taking the time to listen and review. Very much appreciated.
And what a beautiful release it is! Great work on those pads, they are so uplifting! Very nice subtle percussion too! Simple song, but very effective emotionally! Love it!
I agree with Leachim, perfect meditation music! This is so peaceful! You seem to be a master at putting emotion into your songs, which makes me look up to you as an artist. Very pleasing music!
Thank you for stopping by my good friend. I am glad you found some meditation qualities in this piece. I honoured by your comment. I'm trying hard to make emotive music. Big thanks.
cyber.... i must say you have a really creative mind....very dark and imaginative...certainly an imaginative piece of work...i really enjoy listening to you...those voices that come in and out....
going out on a limb, but fr some reason i listened to del shannon's runaway back to back with this and it works - strange heartbroken and bladerunning music - i'm a-walking in this endless rain... brilliant
Sounds like my head in times of silence! Love the shimmering pads! Would love to see a movie that invited this track into it's soundtrack! Would love to know more about how you created this soundscape, as it's very interesting! Haunting track for sure! I'm truly impressed, as usual when hearing one of your songs!
Hello Sir. I know what you mean about the silence! Thank you for your support and kind words, they always give me strength.
In terms of creating this piece, well sometimes I try and compose a piece with an aim in mind and then other times, like this, I work on a sound that reflects my mood at the time and when it connects, I go from there. Dunno if that makes sense? lol
I like this. definitely an eyes closed piece for me. you build the ambience very well in this, I get really immersed in the song and that's hard for me to do with this kind of music. definitely a cinematic piece. when it is silenced I hear my own voices, when it is not, I feel the music.
Great work. This is art. I will be keeping you in mind for further listening!
Emotional, thought provoking, a little on the dark side but all the while quite interesting to listen to. All paranoid people should not listen to this, lol! Sure, cinematic is a good choice here. Nicely put together, sounds good to my ears, def worth the listen, cool track!
Thoughts as it plays:
Intro very intro-esting (yes I am the punning linguist) - sounds like the inside of my head before meds!!
Very introspective for the first couple of minutes, listening with my eyes closed to this bit, makes me think about times gone by
I like that the whispers come and go
The synths are messing with my head in a good way
At 5:30 I am chilling out but it has a delicious sinister edge, like taking a recreational tranquiliser
All in all this track takes me back to being undiagnosed psychotic but in a really cathartic, cleansing way. I really like this. Would be interested in seeing what others think - or if I've got your intentions totally wrong!!
Hey Pixieboots, thank you so much for listening and taking the time to share your views on this piece. The fact that you've found so much depth in it really moves me and I'm honoured!
In terms of your interpretation, I would say that you are spot on with my feeling and intention. Thank you so much!
