Hello Dime, along with Crucethus and Pnnywze. (Interesting name but okay)
I came back on here to formally apologize to you and anyone associated.

What I said was immature and out of line. I shouldn't have been going out against you, like you said "We are all about building communities and not throwing rocks at them." I actually did do some research before hand, but then actually went on a deep dive on the internet. And well you learn something new everyday :) (my head hurts from all of the legal terms and words).

I am not a perfect person, or artist. I hope you and other and forgive me, so that we may continue giving each other feedback and strengthen the LM community. I also hope that this doesn't incline me as a Karen (I've had few experinces with those irl), I was going off what I knew at the time, which was wrong and/or incomplete.

Sending Regards and Apologizies

thankyou for that young fella, you can see from the responses how the community feel, we are a family, we all want support and guidance, critical feedback is good not insults and accusations, you were right about the original source of the music but music is interpreted differently and that's why covers are done, I apologized to you when i realized you were 15 I'm an adult i should have shown more calm, so best foot forward put it behind us and just work with the community, i am the biggest supporter of our community so it is a safe place to share we have younger members and you are all our music tomorrows, you are the type of artist i try to protect like your father so you actually feel safe uploading your work as a younger artist here, can you imagine how you would feel if adults were saying your rubbish pack it up, you have a little about you, how do i know, because only somebody who is ignorant would not have apologized, and thats exactly why this matter is now closed, and we start again as associates now.

Fooking, Tabarnak, thisismyescape has stepped over a line eh? I feel for yah mate, it's been quite a few years since I had a tussle with anyone on this channell.
Also it's clearly marked Adult content only. Some people just like to troll and feel like there a superior Karen sometimes. This is Classic Dime . (Using art to get the agression out instead of fists). Keep on Mate.

Steven i get an occasional hater, because I simply think they believe dimestop is real, the lad is only 15 so still wet behind the ears, dime he's the character i created and i wan't to develop him further, I am super proud of him and like you the people that know Paul know that dime is so far from the kind hearted community builder Paul is. i just use my own life as a template for my lyrics, you have all watched me grow into a community player and I protect this community with my life you all know how happy music makes me, and having a safe place to share their creations, I'm fine with critique but I'm not having anybody tell me what do, if I wasn't laughing so much about it I'd slaughter him for 3 minutes on a beat you know i have the vocabulary lol

I dont know what dude is on about, I dont think he understands how things work. This music is not monetized in any way. Therefore this is perfectly fine. You know that I have been around the music industry for a long time, there are always going to be people like that. We're just gonna keep doing what we do, my friend.
As for the song, its Dimestop, no doubt. Noone else like you man.
Love from the whole Monzder Squadd.

I mean..take a listen to the guys song, then compare it to the piano piece of your song. They're the exact same. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5OIeIaAhQOg

And whoa, those are some aggresive words. I really don't know what you mean by "I'll eat you alive and throw the scraps to my cage fighter son" but it doesn't scare or intimidate. I don't really care about your listens, those don't matter to me.
Also don't call me son :) thx. I will also kindly ask you to not use profanity to me.

Anyway, since you want feedback. Here's what I think. I was primarily concerned with your work being taken down due to possibly Copyright Infringement/violation (or whatever the fancy legal word it is)

Vocals seem to lack structure/tempo, it kinda matches but is sometimes offbeat. I would also like to point out the volume in balance between the instrumental background to your vox track. Try evening out the drums and piano so that they still stand out, but are still playing as like one. Then increase vocal track volume, should define it more.

look bro you are new to the community i have no issues with you like i said this beat has 230.000 listens on YouTube and i put my vocal on it, what is your issue, that i never mentioned the classical work it stems from, i don't have to, i used 2CEE's work and adjusted it myself, your comment and feedback is fine, i don't expect everybody to like me and if you had just left that comment without the garbage, my response would have been simple,
thanks for your time bro, i don't agree with the comment as it doesn't reflect what others are saying but i appreciate your time anyway, but you chose to be clever, stay of my work because your just adding to the hype its getting, concentrate on improving your listens and comments and stop worrying over mine. WE are all about building communities and not throwing rocks at them when you first arrive so ##### YOU
and i won't even bother giving you another reply, so dont bother wasting your time

Im coming back from a long trip and just opened LM. I read that youre in pain, and Im sorry to hear that. I often go through the same thing because of work. But if pain helps you create pieces like this, then maybe its not such a bad thing after all! Fantastic composition. I dont know if its exactly what our friend thisismyescape describes, but what I hear is a wonderful and very inventive piece, beautifully crafted in every aspect. Thank you, my friend. Ill listen to it again tomorrow with more attention, because right now Im exhausted.
Take care and I hope you feel better very soon.

thankyou Chris i tried to explain how the work came about and the permission i asked, its like here Chris, I have sang on over 75 songs from our community, lots of friends too, but i always ask them first, some people must think I'm pushing to be pro, I'm not, i do this for me and my mental health first and foremost if i ever get a reward, i will be truly grateful but that is not my goal that is being a good man a good father and an exceptional grandad. i know i am popular in our community i have helped build it this ismyescape must be the headteacher kind, intellegent but no common sense, if i feel I can give feedback on a track be it critical or not, I will say it, i would certainly never be narrow minded, he is no expert, although he may have thought he was, i have two friends away from LM too one had a No1 hit 1978 and they are both still pro today the other being a session drummer for 30 years, and our own Manuela, these are the people i learnt from. thanks for the comment and listen and your warm wishes for my recovery

Hi Paul!

I enjoyed reading your lyrics while listening to you. You create authentic urban poetry, and I think the unbearable pain of that sciatica is what brought out that strength in your words, that anger. But there's something that really caught my attention: it's not just anger and strength, you also come across as defiant, as if you were saying, "Here I am, and I can handle whatever comes." I really liked it.

And don't worry about being 60 and thinking you're 40. There are worse people than you who are about to turn 62 and think they're 35, like me, hahaha. I can't accept my age and I don't recognize myself in the mirror.

I hope you get better from the pain. I suffer from migraines, and one of the few things that relieves them is a honey-based remedy made with marijuana.

Best regards, Juan Carlos

Juan thanks for time and lovely comment, i love them words authentic urban poetry, i have wrote that down and it may well appear in a track i pen, poetry will be the word i work from and source my inspiration

authentic urban poetry
the ecstasy
expectancy
flowing free
quoting me
distance of my enemy
standing next to me

that's just coming from reading your comment
there is so many words that rhyme with the key word
thankyou good Sir,

my friend suffers migraines and needs to lie down in a dark room, i feel for you bruv
and of course Marijuana is a help I've used it for 40 years i bought my father some marijuana cream for his tight chest and cough, from the Netherlands when he was 70, it worked a treat he's 80 and still fit as fiddle he also stopped smoking 20 years ago at 60

Hey...isn't this a remix of Gibran Alcocer's song Idea 10?
I know its sped up, but you should say that you used his song. I also think that this isn't really legal...
Kurate Music as the full rights to his song, and so does the creator Gibran Alcocer, so I would think about leaving this up here...

bro this is my bro's beat from Germany, it's on sale and has 230.000 hits on youtube, i asked if I could use it non commercially, no issues, it will be on soundcloud too, just like other tracks I've added including the soundtracks to the biggest dance movies, i used their sound track, never ever had a takedown from any platform, and bro,
i make beats i play keys and drums, but i much prefer to rap/sing on friends work Im love sharing with talent.
Lastly, nobody tells me what to do or say and that includes you, I'll eat you alive and throw the scraps to my cage fighter son
learn what you can and can't do legally, i know,
i want feed back on the track not the industry, if you think the track is #####, that's fine, just have the balls to say it, i don't have almost 100, 000 listen in 5 years here if i didn't know what I was doing, Regards Dime

thanks Kay, i started with the word messing, the next word was sentence, thats where it all started them two words only, i then built it out. there are so many words that rhyme with sentence lol, thats how i usually work, i have a story wrote down then i pick the choice words and mould the line around the word i chose. and i used the pain i am suffering as the energy and drive for this track, my next track is built from One word only and it is the title 'Brightspark' lol, thanks for the time lady and please pass my regards to Oli

Hello Paul,
My wife suffered from sciatica some years ago, and it was a very difficult time for all of us. She is someone who can usually handle pain well, but in this case, it was unbearable. We managed to control it with a nerve root injection guided by MRI, and thankfully she's been fine ever since.
I've been dealing with my own painful situation for the past 15 days after injuring my left arm in a bad fall. The joints are extremely sore, though at least I didn't break any bones. Despite immobilization and using medical ointments, certain movements still cause sharp pain. I am still going to work, but it is far from pleasant. At home, music remains my best painkiller.
My latest song is called "My Rocking Right Hand" , what else could it be?
We'll hold on, and things will get better.
Your song is excellent and truly unique. This style of music suits your vocals perfectly, making for a wonderful combination. It was a beautiful listen, my friend.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery,
Anthony

Anthony that word is about right' unbearable is the perfect word, it is. the pain is constant and so uncomfortable, i struggle to walk and driving for 8 hrs a day is not the best position to be in, i am taking Opiod pain relief it leaves me feeling light headed and its against the law to drive under the influence of strong painkillers and carries the same sentence as drink drivingso i can;t work, but i am going in to speak to them this week as its not affecting me has it did at first now my body as gotten use to it, so not being at work leaves me thinking about the pain all day so hopefully getting back will keep my mind on other things, thanks for the stop and comment its always appreciated my friend this was delivered with anger and pain but i still had a smile on my face

Thank you for continuing to create and share your music with us even while going through so much. That kind of passion and dedication speaks louder than words. Your music brings joy, inspiration, and meaning to those who listen.

brother to receive a comment like that is beautiful for me to read, Paul was a confident young man even tho he took many painful hits, I have a dramatic back story, my closest here know about it, I am lucky to be alive also, and I hid it all for 40 years, its difficult to talk about, I have always been searching for a release since age 15 and that release was music and finding a community here at 54 was the icing on the cake, Im 60, so it was a long journey, and i put that strength, energy and courage into my music, it comes from within me its my heart and i draw off the inspiration I receive here and in all the positive feedback , i try to provide inspiration for others too, I play my part commenting, as you all provide me with so much
my lyrics are usually about my life in general, I am recovering slowly my friend, and your warm message will help that recovery and it speaks volumes about the person you are for thinking about me, there is beautiful people on this planet lots are @looperman lol

Hey Paul, that sucks that you have to go through that man. We're sorry, brother. But having this outlet really helps us focus on something positive, and the energy that flows through us when we're in the studio brings an almost youthful feeling with it, a feeling that is a rarer and rare thing as we grow older. I respect the wisdom and experience you have and that you often share with us, and I personally wish you the fastest and longest lasting relief for your pain. Definitely can feel the anger and frustration in this one, and I completely understand bro.

Your mixes getting good. Lyrics like a mantra. Love this concept of repetition. There's is so much life in your voice, unusual and I pressed the play key :). There are certain ideas I'm gonna copy. I love the intro to this. I'm no expert when it comes to Hip Hop, but I really like the vocals, as it's not delivered in an American accent and therefore sounds quite unique. If I was going to draw a comparison, expecially the vocals, then I'd have to say it reminded me of The Streets at times? Overall, a really good track, not what I expected, and as I say, I'm no expert when it comes to Hip Hop, but I like to listen to different genres on Looperman. Your new set up sounds great and it shines through on this track too. Yeah, really great track mate, I like it.

hello Bullitt thanks for the stop off, i'm glad you brought up the difference between UK and USA rappers, they are different in flow and delivery and both have their place in todays listening and being a proud north easterner from the Boro but livin in Birmingham, i still talk like a boro lad not a brummie i have never tried or wanted to be anything other than me, and bring my own individual character, the streets i have had many comparisons with and I gracefully except it everytime Mike Skinner writes good lyrics, thanks for a nice comment bruv

Hi Paul, this is a well-crafted, emotional track, and it honestly sounds a cut above your previous tracks. As you might know, Im no Hip Hop expert... so, admittedly, I always struggle a bit when it comes to reviewing tracks in this genre. It just feels awful to me to offer an opinion on things Im not really well-versed inyou know what I mean? Thats not to say I cant recognize where the quality lies, though...
With this particular track, I noticed that various elements gradually shift sideswhich, of course, isn't exactly uncommon. However, in this case, the elements involved are ones where I wouldn't typically expect that to happen (at least from a traditional standpoint)such as the bass, the snare, or even the entire drum kit. As I said, I don't know the first thing about Hip Hop, so it's entirely possible that this is just how things are done these days. Regardless, youre forging your own path, and youre doing a fantastic job. Keep moving forward, brother!
Cheers,
Micky

thanks for the listen and feedback Micky, i have always tried to push boundaries in my music, sometimes i beat myself up because i have my plans and ideas that are more structured and follow the standard format but i love messing shifting the panning side to side, i like a bit of ping-pong in sound too, i use lots of automation also, i mess with stereo editing and shaping and like reverb delay interwoven with resonance shifts.
I have quite a few good tracks penned and I am going to bring just a straight down the middle piece no sideways movement apart from maybe a couple of overlays left or right but nothing else and see how i think it sounds,
i do use reference tracks also at times as a guide, but tend to divulge to show a little creative flair, i suppose it really is the music choice,
if i do a ballad, I use Manuela, well i use an expensive Studio master of hers that her producer Nic sent me, when we were working together, her voice is amazing the master is so professional and sounds gorgeous and of course I would never ever share it, it was a personal gift, she is a big part of our community with her support and advice to most, you are also one of the artist along with Rob and Cru who i looked up to for guidance, you all helped me and also allowed me to be a little crazy, and to be truthful, hip-hops boundries are limitless so your still qualified to have your own opinions mate, it has crossed into all genres because of its lyric content from rock to jazz to funk and pop any rapper could spit 8 bars and it would or should stand out in the track, i'll keep pushing because that's what this community taught me, its artist are daring and prepared to push things, just like you mate with your amazing compositions only difference being yours sound ##### great everywhere lol

I was reading your other comments...u have a purple pork pie hat?! Ha! There is always something quirky and new to learn about a friend. Ive heard this one, my brother played it for us last weekend when we were just checking out everyone's recent work. I forgot to come and shoot u a comment from my profile tho, so here I am lol. I can for sure say that there has been some overall improvement to your music, alot of small things that the average listener might not catch until theyve heard your other work, and a few bigger things. All of that adds up though. And the new equipment has given u a boost and u can be more confident in the quality of your work too. So that's a huge success, bro. You have a unique voice and a compelling perspective, Paul. It has always shined through to me, and even without your new equipment i have no doubt youd still be putting out bangers anyway. Nice work, my friend. All the way around.

one more thing, id like you to do a verse for one of our last few songs we're gonna be doing for our album. I wouldn't want to release the album without that being done, honestly. I can send u the sections/songs that we're working on, or will be, if thats ok. Email?

its good to receive from you bruv, we been friends for time, and our group certainly gelled and bounced together, we have all watched each other grow over the years and people like yourself have noticed the small changes that i try to bring using things like stereo seperation resounance using mono and stereo layers, i try to get loudness and definiton with other tools that you have far more control over than just pumping up the EQ volume slider, this community and its talent have been an enormous part of my story, helping me and aiding me, i am truly grateful for this. but i want to be truthfully honest Aaron. the thing I love this place for more than anything other than my grandchildren was how it released me from holding on to thoughts and feelings.
I struggle with my mental health and possibly anxiousness believe it or not. this community improved my issue more than anything, i searched hard, that journey was a long time bruv 20 years and the change to my life has been incredible since i found this passion it gave me confidence it gave me myself belief back, its people are the reason Im still here, not the platform as a whole, the success of the platform is important of course but if we lose its people, i feel i would loose out big style, i carried all my grief, i knew i needed a release from it, i was petrified when i joined, i was known as the man with a big heart, i then I wrote a song about my pain and the very first comment brought instant relief because others felt it reflected parts of their own lifes, i had tears rolling down my face, have i found what I've always been looking for, it was instant relief, i have never looked back
dimestop was born, he is the man that felt trapped inside for years, yes he's only a character, but because of the difference he has made to my life, i will be forever grateful to him even tho he is only a figment of my crazy thinkings
happiness doesn't necessarily come from having everything it comes from the balance inside first and then LM gives you a stage to perform and share your personal journey with like minded people all around the world who also have their own struggles, and you can show have far you have come in your own self, its simply beautiful

Hi Dimestop!

To be honest, I don't usually listen to this genre of music much because I don't know English, and I think the lyrics are the most important thing in this genre. But I've been browsing through your repertoire, haha.

First of all, there's definitely a noticeable improvement in sound with the new equipment.

Secondly, you have an unmistakable, unique voice. Just like I told RichardShekari at the time, I'd recognize one of your songs anywhere, except for the one you did with IA, haha.

And thirdly, you create incredible lyrics. Until a few days ago, I hadn't noticed that some people uploaded lyrics that you could read. To find out what the lyrics said, I'd download the song, separate the vocals from the music, and use Audacity to transcribe and translate them, like I did with Rita's songsquite an ordeal, haha. Now that I've listened to yours again, reading the lyrics, I can tell you that you have a special gift for writing. By the way, the Spanish guitar always sounds good in songs, hahaha.
Best regards, Juan Carlos

hi Juan thanks for stopping off, i have been a follower of hip hop for 40 years it all started for me as a dancer, i done the holiday camps and spent 3 years as a younger man having fun, i was a street dancer i carried on until i was 55 until i dislocated a rib doing a windmill lol, my son came in to hospital and laughed maybe now its time to quit the energentic stuff Pops, i was introduced to music production and fell in love with it, especially the LM community it was naturally the path i would choose hip hop, i have done Indie and Ballads but i do love my hip hop its a culture my friend it was quite political and explosive in its early days too and the dancing grafffiti wearing bright colors was all part of it and standing out.
i have had a very intriguing life complicated and painful at times with tragedy sprinkled in also so lots of my lyrics are based on my life or friends close too me and my job is to make the story come to life and feel as real as possible, i love to play a part in helping to build what we have here and moreso comment and give feedback and encouragement to my talented friends and of course my friend the spanish guitar is a huge part in hip hop too a truly wonderful sounding instrument with definition and character, i also don't leave comments to recieve them back, i do it to inspire others after you work on a production and to hopefully encourage you to continue as the community will emrace it make you feel your time spent was worthwhile, it all makes toward a safe place to help you feel comfortable sharing your music, i also have an extremely close group here but i include everyone, as you have to be brave to bring your own music and stand up to be counted and judged. artist are one of a kind, we share a passion

Wow! Incredible track. Always unique, just like many of your works the blend of all the elements is outstanding. The vocals, are amazing; they fit the piece as if they were made for it. Great job, my friend a truly impressive result!

thanks for checking some of my back pieces, i was extremely fortunate to have built a good friendship with Manuela, and it gave me access to work directly with her and her studio and her being a pro vocalist with 20 years in the business, the help she has provided me with my voice has been valuable.
you mention in your reply to me your music may seem a little outdated to some, dont ever think like that my friend, music just becomes refined thats all, i dont comment on any track if i dont like it, i would n't offend for the sake, either, i tend to comment if i believe a track is worth it, and your work has been worth it, hence my comments and positives, another plus in our community bro, we inspire each other as we all grow

Hi dimestop, been awhile. I don't know about a difference but this sounds good. I've been working on a jazz album and not listening to Looperman tracks for awhile. It's good to hear your music again. Take care, Cosmo
