One thing that's interesting about your tracks is the different sorts of culture involved. This track perfectly illustrates the chinese culture under a hip-hop form; this stuff might also have been put under traditional.
Nice chopsticks!!!
Thanks James. I see what you mean about traditional. Your are quite right there are different cultural themes in a lot of my tracks. Thanks for the review. Will be sure to review some more of your tracks also.
Some of this stuff sounds like a great theme for a catch ring. The electric guitar on the chorus sounds quite agressive. Nice stuff. This track might have also been able to be put under metal, it's slightly got that dark sort of feeling. I certainly agree with your title.
Nice track man, but I wish it had progressed a little faster and gotten a little more in my face. That's kinda what I like in grime and dubstep, when I'm surprised by the sound
Nice stuff. A bit dance/hip-hop like. Can't wait for the vocal version. This is the second grime track I've listened to. Grime seems a bit like hip-hop.
Really liked this one dude. great ideas good arraignment.
The only thing i picked up on was the arps could maybe use the release being shorter, i only say that because every other sound is very sharp and they kinda end a little out of time with the rest of the sounds. they could maybe use a little side chain compression with them ducking out a little bit in time with the snare.
This has so much musical value! I really liked the intro with those atmospheric samples! The vocals sound great, and the lyrics are awesome! I really like what you do! Faved for sure!
This is quite cool! I love those sweeping oscillator sounds, too cool! Lots of good sounds in this mix! Great bass! Best grime I've heard on the loop so far! Faved for sure!
Thanks Spiv. Best Grime you have heard on the Loop. That is a Big compliment. Thanks Man!! I am going to check out some of your tracks. Glad you like my take on Grime. Take care Buddy.
Thanks Man. My internet has been down for over a month just got back online now. Up for a collab on this on. I will make it available for download. Big up
Track could be fire bro, just need a bit of space and width, some of the synths are a little cheezy too, im gonna go out on a limb and say fruty loops or reason yeah?
Get the two things i mentioned sorted out and you got yourself one awesome track bro, chord progression is top notch.
Try panning to give width to the synths also try a little delay on only one side of the synth to give it width.
Try a envelope drop attached to the pitch of the bass when it hits, by that i mean the bass starts off in the octave above and then very quickly drops down to the octave your playing, you'll know when its right because the bass will kinda quack a little, this will make the bass come through the mix and smack people round the chops :)
Because of the speed of reggaeton being quite slow you can use loads of effects like reverb, delay, chorus even a bit of bit crusher on the drums. all these things will help your track POP.
Thanks for making the track bro and sharing, enjoyed it very much
Many thanks for your review really appreciate the feed back. Not sure what you mean about the Envelope Drop. Are you saying to change the pitch? or Attack? Or? I think if i mix it down better the 808 and bass will come through more. I make the tracks on a MPC then bounce it onto Logic through an 828 Motu Sound Card. So I cant Put the beat through Bit Crusher. What i could do is Take a loop of the beat and put it on top of the track then put that through Bit Crusher and layer up the sounds. I heard some of your tracks aswell. really Like your Sound. great Quality. Some of the better quality stufff that ive heard. Your feed Back was spot. Feel free to comment on some of my other tracks. Would welcome the feed back. Many thanks Jason Grimal Beatz London UK
This gets you straight into the zone man. Love the way you break it down to start off. Not too much variety with vocals, but enough to keep it flowin strong. I really like this man. -Peace
its right on the tempo and ish. i hear it. i think that tambourine sounding thing is the right noise for it. i like that rat tat tat thing that comes in at1:06 its chill. basically spot on production. keep it coming
