As usual, another great track from you! You have a perfect talent for making synths! This mix has a great flow to it! Nice explosive snare sound! Good high hat grooves! Oh it's too short, oh well! Nice work! Faved for sure!
This is a very ear pleasing track! Your synth work is amazing, as usual! I like those arcade sounding arpeggios! This would be great in a video game! Great work so far!
the intro is really good. like the 8bit crunchy sound goin on. that synth is damn sexy too, id like to get her number lol. your style of electronic reminds me a lot of video game music from konami or some other japanese game producer. really groovy. i say finish this one off, sounds awesome so far.
heya, so many good works around here that i got tired of my own words like nice, great, profound and super, yet I felt like this one deserves one more go where they all fit.
real cool how you implemented those vocals. They bring over the message and the ambiance is fitting. Energetic, no tips i can provide here, this is beyond my capabilities at this point. Going to hear it again and get inspired instead.
Wow this is really cool! You've got talent for the dubstep! Like others have said, it was an awesome intro! Great sound effects! Really nice mixing! Hope to hear a longer version of this one! Nice!
sounds like some endgame music from a air combat or mech themed game. nice simple beat, the sub drop is a nice touch. love the synths, really active. good song blunts.
damn that is far out. the vocals at 1:15 make it sound like a anti-smokin song tho lol, idk. that crunchy low-bit thing in the intro is cool. love the bass, just bounces along doin the do. love the grandpa's guitar. it rounds everything off and provides a good contrast to all the electronic sounds. good job b&b.
yeah i know what you mean about the vocals and anti pot thing haha, i kinda thought that myself but i thought the wording was interesting so i just left it in for now. thanks for the review man ill check some more of your stff out soon
A great one! I really like the trip feeling in this, drifty as gloomy. It even reminds me of Amon Tobin when the guitar comes in... Keep on doing stuff like this!
Groovy track man! I dig the drum beats especially! That guitar sounds awesome too! Love those vocal clips too, especially the one about marijuana! Nice pads and glitchy effects! Like others have said it could use some bass, but it's really cool as is. Nice work! Faved for sure!
hey thanks spiv, glad you like it. im gonna start working on some bass line ideas now, seems to be the thing i lack most on this tune. probably make it a bit longer too. thanks for the review and fav man!!
dude.. i gave this song a listen not reading your info haha. so it came to quite a shock to me, but in all honesty i liked it. not my cup of tea, however it was belnded so well that it was simply epic. there are not many other words to call it. dude i really could see myself jaming to this man. this was easy 10 out of 10. you did this with only a year under your belt. that is just awesome bro. Keep up the amazing jams brah
Anyhow.. Umnn I am listening on some hella expensive headphones.. And I am already really lovin' them drumy bitrate drop.
AHHH... awesome drums.
Bass is that wobbly soundeffect thingy? Yeah.. A bass would be cool.. I would maybe only focus it on like the chorus or something after the vox. ... Amazing work on the glitch work. Damn near IDM. Yeah... Where's the bass? The "whaaaaaaaaaaaoooo" is awesome, but it doesn't round out the bottom enough for me personally... Another thought, and this is TOTALLY just my opinion, I actually like to hear stuff "messing up".. Like fingers rubbing across the strings... stuff being almost "not perfect"... It makes things more human.
Your mix is really good. Soo them 40 dollar headphones ain't bad.. or the thing inbetween 'em.
Umn... Good headphones and monitors are really necessary.. But I don't even have monitors at the moment XD
Longer and a bassline.
Love the glitchery and drums. Almost "amen" drum and bass style. Love that sh8t.. I eat it for breakfest lunch and dinner with sides of death metal.
haha man this is one of the best reviews ive seen! i dont know what IDM is, i am gonna have to check it out! and yeah need to add a bassline apparently haha, i got some ideas brewing. really appreciate the review.
I paid extra attention to the guitars after I read the last review... I dunno, I don't feel like they're too loud but I think if you took em down just a tad it couldn't hurt. Pads have a cool scratchy quality to them. I guess if I had to offer any advice I'd say I feel like the bassline lacked some distinction. Actually, I can't even tell if the track has one. I think a nice simple bassline would really round out the sound. Really nice track though, I like it a lot.
thanks everyone pointed out the bassline startin with you! haha really appreciate that i cant believe i didnt add one. got some ideas now!. thanks alot for listening man
I like this a lot. The pads are lovely as is the acoustic guitar. Great beat and vocal samples as well. This might be because I'm listening to it on headphones but the guitar does sound a little [very little] too loud. But yeah other than that, this is really good work.
thanks for the input, i will check into the guitar volume. i also mix on 40$ headphones so its not the best sometimes haha!! really appreciate the love and for the tip!
Another spectacular track my man! Love what you've done with the vocals on this one! A very relaxing listen! You have a good talent for mixing! Nice one!
So much going on and yet you manage to splice it all together quite nicely. Love the effects and vocal bits, the beats are all good especially the opening and end drum line and the back and forth with house vibe works for me. Good job with the scratching, and like how you "bring the beat back". Fav'ed this, would have DL'ed. - DF
appreciate the kind words :) this is a very different track for me than what im used to so im glad you like it :) i can send you a copy if you want no problem. thanks for review and fav :)
I can't believe I fav'd this and didn't even leave a review! I LOVE the melody. The beat is fat as my cousin from texas and the synth work is makes this a keeper. When you say vocals are you looking for an MC or a singer? I almost can hear some female vocals singing the chorus to this one...
hey thanks! this is the first track I made that actually left me with a smile on my face. Like i finally reached a new level(for me) in music creation. I am a HUUGE HUGE fan of female vocals, so that would be ideal but I am open to anything really. just want to get some words on my tracks! will have a lot of free time soon to check ur tunes! thanks again
This is so groovy! I like the squeaky sounds at the beginning. It's to bad you didn't save this one, but to make you feel better it has a very finished sound to it. Really cool drum work! Another awesome track my friend!
