awesome pseudo-scratching. abstract meta-narrative a little reminiscent of negativland but this benefits from a tighter, more compact approach. very cool. cheers, man!
Yeah thats some nice percussion (Amen Breaks). I think with the voice it needs some sausage fattener on it as its too thin (and that comes a bit from the pella and her voice is not massively deep in tone), but I love the phase effects you used on it. The bass is also spectacular. I agree with CinCoCent the vox needs to come up in the mix, but a really nice job overall mate.

Nice ear thats exactly what they are(amen breaks/phase), as a drummer im delighted to hear good stuff about the bass too. Ill look into fattening the vocals, Thank you very much
Wow! Better then my version. Goid stuff man! 1.20 and above sick ass drum works. Reminds me of jungle. Nice! Maybe work vocals to be a lil louder. Yea better then mine
Well you some how were able to make a very clean sound than what the wave form is showing lol. I would suggest some reverb for for the vocals to give it depth. But overall a good job!
Thanks Bud I really appreciate it. Have 2 more songs from that band ill be posting, Track 2 and Track 3, never ended up naming them, the other band members hated my playing on them and kicked me out shortly after recorded.
A repeated masterpiece ... with many memorable moments ... yes, in the wake of the Tool but for me it's more metal ...vocs are incredible as your drums ... it was 12 years ago...what's now??? how is this group livin??? that final part from 6.50 is insane...
Thank you so much my face hurts from smiling. The song "Ticks and Leeches" had a really big impact on me and i wanted to do my own version without copying it. I was also very influenced by the double bass drumming of the band Lamb of God on the album Ashes of the Wake. The other band members hated every note i played on every song we did and would constantly complain about my style. It got real bad after I discovered 70s Jazz/Funk/Rock fusion music during a break from the band when the voc/gui dude moved away for work. I just posted the first song we did after we got back together and i became the main instrumental part writer, Much different. https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/216401 after this and the two I plan to post over the next couple days they kicked me out, havent talked to them since.
Thank You very much I really appreciate that. That was the first time i ever stepped into a studio and i crushed it in one take. I uploaded another from that unfinished LP here https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/216351
Thank You. I checked out your profile b4 answering, I have a metal background so that might influence some things. Metal is a very drum heavy genre so it is natural to progress to it if you are a heavy hitter like me.
Thanks again, also bc i used stuff labeled cinematic. The post part has to do with when you look for bands that need a drummer, people will say, post-rock, post-metal, post-punk, just a funny take on that, im glad you liked it

The song has a bit of an orchestral feel with banging rock drums, interesting combination and idea.
