Hello, I already commented on one of your other songs because I loved it. I find this song to be absolutely perfect for the cyberpunk anime we are developing here at Jackal Studios. We await the approval and also I can give my discord and invite to our server where we are working on the show. Thanks...
Hello, ignore my name (it's old I'm not much of a YouTuber anymore) I'm currently a project admin for an anime we are developing and we want your song in our show at some point I'm not sure if the other guy will respond but we will see how it goes...
JustH01 stolle your track first of all so i didnt see this until scrolling through the track section.
This is a really good idea. The vocals fit well but I would recommend compressing them a little and turning the volume down slightly in order make them cleaner. The drop is also a good idea, I find the drums a little lacking but at the same time that is an easy fix. Finally I find that the intro is a little to simple and that the idea deserves a little more filling. Some natural sound effects such as water flowing down a stream, thunder off in the distance, even a busy street would give it more life. All in all though well done, keep on producing.
Also if you wouldn't mind could I try taking a crack at it. I also use fl studio and thought of some ideas.
I think the only thing to point out here is the drop, tho I like how it sounds but it's too repetitive try to add bass or change the flow of the drop after a bar or so, to give this track more of a variation.
You can try to make a bass house drop in this song like Seth Hills,Julian Jordan and Loopers.Build up is amazing, vocal is so good, intro is so energic. But drop,I don't like it.
Frankly, it fits with dubstep, but drop is too simple.
I would suggest adjusting the levels. Louder doesn't necessarily mean better. Start low. You can always boost at the end. What you have here is a "brickwave" Everything is just pushed to the max.
Try layering your drums. Have two or more kicks. Each specifically set for where they hit the hardest on the frequency spectrum. Have one that hits hard in the lower end, and one with a nice snap on the top end. Equalize them together so that you get one equal sounding kick. Try layering a clap with your snare. Put a stereo separator, and a small amount of reverb so that it rings out a little.
It's been mentioned already that once the drop hits, it kind of just...keeps going. Try switching it up after a bar or so. Drop in a second "growl" or "wubwub". Right now, it's just 1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-4. Give it a few extra steps in there. Don't forget Impacts, risers, and downlifters, too. They add a great texture and dynamic to your track.
I like the vocals. they fit well with what you have. Once you work on the levels, those should come out a little more, too. They should take the front seat in the mix, but not stand alone above everything.
Now that we have all of that out of the way, I totally dig where you're going with this. I really hope you continue to work on it. I'd like to hear it as a completed track. It's got a great energy to it. Don't let it get away.
I like the idea but it's waaaaay too loud. The growly distortion after about :50 is a bit much, maybe a compressor was turned up accidentally. The singing was working with the beginning musical part but the mix needs some attention. We all have volume knobs to turn a song up but once you've introduced something that saturates the mix that much, even turning my volume down doesn't help.
Well, if I may speak personally: I like the song up to around 0:50; then you go way overboard with the effects. That's ok for a couple bars, but not a full minute - for me anyway, but I'm an old man and others may completely disagree.
Sergi has such a good voice, so try to make him the star of the song.
My .02$. I hope it helps you!
The intro transition are all on point, vocal chops give so much atmosphere in the track which is nice.
The anime samples are all good and you did a good job on that one, I like the predrop panning at 0:55/1:00 it gives more of a kinda exciting feels to the drop.
My suggestion here is:
At 1:45 is lacking a downlifter and ambiances which leads to empty spaces maybe add a subtle pads, also not a fan of the snare but it's optional that's only my opinion.
