Personally, I found the bass to be too overpowering. What you have backing the bass sounds really interesting and I think that the two could be brought together to produce something very good.

I like this one a lot man, good pace and rhythm. I agree with Nuckinfutz about how you should change it up. I think you could drop the volume and/or treble and maybe double up the sample when the bass comes in. You could even have a pause without the sample and drop back in. Just a tip. -Peace

I like this hook, but it sounds like an intro/outro throughout. I'd love to hear it pause at about :26 then hit HARD with a bass/synth and heavier drums following that melody throughout. But thats just me man, I hear sh*t in my head and I try to follow it on my stuff. I guess I just sat listening and waiting for something big to happen cause it's such a great freakin build! Nice work!

If you're gunna go for the "industry" style, you MUST have a huge lead synth in there that can carry the whole track along, otherwise, it just won't bang. also the snare needs a lot more punch and you can barley hear the kick. also the hats need to be more present. all in all, it's a good start.
