Hi Kay and Oli.
Im glad you 2 like it and thanx for the compliment.
I hope i can make more like this but
it start to be hard to find more beats like this.
I think i used them all lol.
Hi Rita, hope things are well with you. I don't forget you make beats. I've always liked your work. Always interesting and engaging, often brilliant in my opinion. All the best, Chris.
Hi Chris im fine thank you.Hope you are also.
yeah in that time i didd make different beats then now .
I think some of them were better than what I'm making now.
They were out of the box just the way I wanted them to be. I even sang on some of them.
Now I make more regular beats, and I find them boring, but I've lost my imagination.
This is really nice! & quite calming...There are some sweet melodies running through this track I very much Enjoyed listening to this. Great Work! Kudos!
Mrs i know you deliver it tongue in cheek and call it comedy, but its a life truth, women spend men's money, your Cha Ching had me smiling we say Kerrrr-Ching in the UK and the ah ah ad-lib is sweet as, the lyrical content is bang on, thought has gone into it, your writing has seriously improved and i'm not just saying that to butter you up either, i know a thing or two about songwriting and your lines are becoming stronger and stronger, i' ve got a few i'm working on but i want a couple of things, i'm gonna buy a decent mic couple £100 as the one i got is cheap about £50 and then i might see if anybody wants to collab on a song, i will write their lyrics too, if they are happy with that, i'm just starting to get back into it now i've spent some poke(money) too, but its my biggest hobby so why not, my kids and grandkids don't go without from me its my personal treat lol
It's true that this happens in some relationships. Now, there are also many women who have their own income.
You're right to spend some money on your hobby.
Most hobbies cost money, and we practically get everything for free online.
At least I do.
I've tried several microphones myself, ranging from 50 to 120 euro.
Either I couldn't get them to work in my DAW, or the sound was terrible, with a lot of static and ambient noise.
I had a sound card with me, so that couldn't be the problem.
Well, Paul, I'm really curious how it goes for you.I hope it works for you.
Geweldig Rita, mooi gevonden en gezongen. En ik dacht net na over een idee over de mensheid die als schapen achter de mode aan rent, als vissen in de vijver van de commercie wachtend op het volgende haakje, wat een toeval :-)
Wonderful, Rita, funny lyrics and beautifully sung. And I was just thinking about an idea about humanity chasing fashion like sheep, like fish in a commercial pond waiting for the next hook, what a coincidence :-)
Thanx Frans.
Luckily, I'm not a fashion follower and I don't wear designer clothes.
I have my own taste and style, and whether it's fashionable or not doesn't bother me.
But I do have to admit that I love shopping for clothes, but I'm always looking for a bargain. I'd rather have four cheap dresses than one expensive one lol. Maar jeans blijft mijn favoriete kleding stuk.Ik denk als ik 80 ben dat ik ze nog draag.
Beautiful work here, in every aspect. You have masterfully delivered your song Rita. Your sound is excellent, I was wondering what kind of equipment you use for your recordings, for example do you use a mic preamp or no? Excellent use of the audio effects too. The tune is very vivid and uplifting and the lyrics are so contemporary and..singable. My compliments on this.
Best regards, Anthony
Thank you for the lovely compliment.
You won't believe it, lol, but I always record my voice with my recorder on my phone.
The only downside is that it has a bit of an echo, but sometimes it's handy because my voice is quite soft.
Another downside is that sometimes you can't hear my "d" and "t" or you can hear them very loudly.
I also always have to record in the living room. In a smaller room, it sounds very muffled.
For most songs, I leave my voice raw.
Sometimes I use a plugin to make my voice a bit louder or to add a bit more treble to my low voice.
I've tried a few microphones through my DAW, but I can't get any sound out of them, or they're very noisy.
For this song, I was especially lucky that I felt comfortable and had a good sense of the beat.
Greetings rita
Rita, although i have many good friends here, you are one of my oldest, you commented on my very first track years ago along with Zoot Maj Puesdoable and others, we were always about we had consistency, yeah you have little breaks, i'm back off mine but we remained good friends all this time, we encourage each other and are both truthful to each other regards our work, for me it's great to know your there, obviously another listen, ooh ooh uh ooh ooh and the crack foley is sic, timed to perfection. by the way i DO smoke about 10 a day now but i smoke weed to relax, de-stress only after work with a coffee, yes, i drink buckets of the stuff, but i got to have a cup of tea when i first wake.
i'm 60 in February, yet i feel 35 and damb right i wanna dance and sing my head off for a few years yet, i'm having fun and 'going crazy', see what i done there, if i do go on the track, i'm might pull you in to drop 8 bars :) i've had it months but just not done anything with it
You surprised me the first time i heard you, remember the nick-name i gave you Boom Boom lol, now you just impress me
It's nice that we've seen each other grow through all the ups and downs. By the way, I'll be 61 in January, and in my head I feel like I'm 35, but I'm finding it hard to accept that I've suddenly had health issues for the past two years.
Everyone keeps telling me I should be happy I'm still alive after colon cancer, and of course I am.
But I can't accept this "me ." Okay, enough about that.
Bring on your beat and vocals, Paul...I'll give you my 8 bars.
Nice to hear that i do impress you.Thanx Paul.
now that is so freeking strange, i know the track, its called 'going crazy' one of Riddick's beats, i was gonna do a rap on it at some stage i think i've downloaded it too, so it appealed to me immediately, you have altered it too :) well its mastered different, put your own style on it, well done i liked the comedic lyrics, mine would be a dimestop special, its a banging track, is it any wonder we clicked, eh Rita,
we probably have other things in common too, we're both old buggers for sure lol, great work and more proof to me you got good taste Mrs :))
Hi Paul. Firts thanx for your compliment.
It's quite a coincidence that we have the same beat.
I'm curious to see what you've made of it.
You can create so many different things with one beat.
What else do we have in common?
Uhh
I drink gallons of coffee, but I think you drink tea.
I smoke and you don't.
But we're both older, we love music, we were late learners and started making beats late, and we had the balls to sing.
At night, I often work on music, and I think you do too.
We don't want to be pigeonholed or pigeonholed.
We still want to dance and be crazy.
Do you know anything else?
Hi Rita,
You say you made this as a joke, but it's done so well! Not only is it done well, but it's also catchy. I like the way you incorporated more depth in the vocal melody. It's almost bouncy. It works well!
Keep them coming, Rita!
Take care.
Aaron
You always get me to click on the lyrics section, and of course, I end up running into the dots. :) It's a beautiful tune- Ilistened to it over the phone, and it came through so clean. Great work, Rita!
Hi Richard .
When i read your comment i didd smile so long because more then 1 year i was waiting when some one will make a comment about the dots lol. i will write the lyrics this evening.
Thanx for your compliment
