I like what EDM said. There is a balance to be struck between encouragement and good (constructive) criticism. The occasional person here seem to take offense at the smallest things, but that's a small minority I think. I'm not one of them. Personally, I like to hear honesty and tips/comments on mix/production and the actual creative content. On this track, I'm slightly embarrassed as I didn't notice anything untoward with the bass when I listened in my headphones.
You are right that some people cannot accept advice or constructive criticism. This may be because they are very insecure or because they think they are too good. I also choose honesty. Honesty is very important to me in all areas of life. As I told EDM, it may be that your headphones hear more higher tones and that's why you didn't notice that my beat had too much bass.
Hello Mom, I didn't hear the first one either, so I can only respond to this song. This is okay when it comes to bass volume. In my opinion the mix is also clean. What Eric says about the recession and social components, he's right! However, I always say something when I notice something and try to help if I can. But there are some here who only write short comments in order to place their own song better. Some people don't even listen to the song they're commenting on in its entirety. You're right and it will never change. It bothered me at first, but now it doesn't bother me anymore. My compliments are sometimes short, especially to people I don't know, but I mean it. I'll never say I like a beat if I actually hate it. You have a lot of experience and I also see that you always give compliments to others, but also honest advice on how someone can improve something.

Rita! Great! Having heard both the first one and this one, you are in perfect balance with the proper amount of punch and bass presence.
And that brings me to something you might not be able to answer, and that is okay. I always wondered why people don't tell the truth when they review songs here. Or at the very least, help someone by pointing out a problem or issue. We are all trying to get better, including myself.
I find that there is a social component to this site, and no one wishes to offend a friend. But I say, people here do a disservice to their friends when they neglect to help them. It's like if I saw you driving your car with one nearly flat tire, I am going to say something to you, rather than send you on your way. Although a song is less critical, by me pointing out the excessive bass in your song, you chose to do something about it, and that makes me happy how you handle that. Well done!
But on the flip side, I get it, people want to encourage their friends and be less critical. And if it is the case? Then that is fine too because nothing critical is at risk here.

Hi Eric I'm also really glad you warned me so I could change it. I think it also makes a difference whether you listen to something through headphones or speakers. Like Zootman didn't notice anything through his headphones, which may have less bass. My headphones actually have extra bass so I don't understand how this could happen. Yesterday I heard the same problem on another new track. The only explanation I can think of is the plug with a little play. I found out if it isn't in properly everything sounds very treble.
About your question. I always received advice from certain people to improve my beat. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. There are indeed people here who always respond positively because they have just uploaded their own track. Respond to become visible. There are also people who have had a lifetime of music experience and actually never respond to your better beats, but only to worse ones. There are also people who like to show how professional they are by giving advice with the most difficult musical technical terms that most beginners have no idea about. And then we have the bullies who only came here to bash everyone. Paul and Manuela always provide help and explanations on how I can improve something. Or if I have technical problems. Manuela has a lot of experience and also dares to tell me honestly if something is not right. I really appreciate honesty and from you Eric I am also happy that you dared to be honest. I hate it when people make me think that something is good when it is not worth listening to. I sometimes give advice myself, although I do so very cautiously. But the reason for that is that I don't think I'm good enough yet to be able to advise someone else. That may be my insecurity. And I also pay close attention to whether it is a beginner. I know from experience that you have to be extra careful because everyone will be unsure in the beginning.
So we have a bit of everything here at Looperman. There are also people who feel too good about themselves to respond to your music. I now ignore those kinds of people and don't even listen to their tracks anymore. From the beginning I have stuck to a certain group of people. Sometimes a newcomer comes along. That group is not large, but I know that they are always there for me to help me improve or to give me self-confidence. wow...I normally never write that much lol
hey Rita, i never heard the first so i can only judge this one bass is good here, nice work and the little choo choo stabs are great, they sound familiar, have you used them in another of your tracks or is it we both use FL and i might of already sampled them in the synthware stock plugins. good trap the vocal is a good fit too. great to see you music busy again, yeah your blue dot is always on when im on YouTube :))
Hi paul I think we have the same standard samples in fl. Today i find another new track that has also to much bass. I find out that the headphone plug has a bit of play and then suddenly produces almost no bass. Now i know the problem and need to take care of it..
Hi Rita, you must have some expensive monitors/speakers to handle this loud bass. I can't handle your bass. That just means, my neighbors could call the police if I turned your song up.
Rita, I am interested in hearing what your approach was and reason for the extra loud bass. It's not wrong, I am just curious.
Maybe in the description of your track, as a courtesy, you can write a heavy bass warning/advisory in the description. It caught me by surprise.

Hi Eric My problem are not the speakers lol. My headphone is the problem. But i dont know why there is so much bass now because on youtube its not like this. Manuela' info is right in FL i dont know weather you use the edison to record or straight to playlist as audio clip, but you choose the input , i choose 1-2 and the ASIO BIOS automatically selects it or load fruity up and plug in your mic. go to general settings and select your mic it should be listed there, i also agree with EDM the forum section should be reintroduced but needs to be better laid out there are many artist here that would be willing to help others it was just full of rubbish before, everyone begging for groups or rappers scratching for scraps, there was no structure to it

Welke geluidskaart of, in het geval van een laptop, welke geluidschip is genstalleerd? Met Windows 11 b.v. B. U kunt een microfooningang (WDM-instellingen) toewijzen aan uw FL Studio. FL-Studio moet bij het toewijzen geladen zijn! Werk je met ASIO, dan moet je in de ASIO-instellingen dezelfde ingang inschakelen die FL Studio ook gebruikt. Music producing can be a challenge at times. I admire your determination and creativity to jump into all of this and express yourself musical. Thank you Eric. My problem is that explanations are often in English. Also on YouTube and I don't speak English that well. Some words simply cannot be translated with the translator. And to be honest, sometimes I'm a bit too lazy to figure it all out. It's the least fun part of making beats. Concerns the ladies in the world. I wish I had started this years ago and knew then that I would really enjoy this. But if I can do it at this age, other ladies can certainly do it.
hidden narcissism, was that in the first one, i cant recall, but listening tonight it jumped on me great rhyme im gonna nick it, its already wrote down in my scribbler lady, nice add to the vox Rita what you find more these days are repeated lines catchy hooks repeated many times, try write 6 lines and spread them mix them up say it one way then use the same words later in a different order repeat the last word of your sentence and add delay and a hall reverb on just that word you know how to make a sample unique, not sure yet if you got bus channels, it does help but your impressing us now anyway, i remember, no way, i'm not singing, i smoke, bla,bla,bla so do i, been there got the Tshirt, i drink whiskey and smoke a blunt most nights too :))) you always have impressed me and although you deny it, you got bottle too, age is just a number, keep up the great work.
Hey Paul. My problem is that i want to sing in English But I can't pronounce all the words correctly.
Then I stumble over my own words. And I think I should learn to sing better first. Finding the right tone is quite difficult. I am now experiencing something that I had never thought about before. Sometimes a word can sound beautiful, but if you put it in a different place where the music tone is different, it suddenly sounds out of tune. I also try to only sing something on my own beats but as you know my beats are quite...uhmmmm often different lol
I dont know what are buschannels.I will read about that. To make a sample unique...i see it but i never try it in FL afraid to make a mistake. I make in audacity a second one. Same as i wish i could make a part of the vocal the volume down in fl . Now the volume of the whole vocal wil go down.I think i need to learn more about the options in fl. I mainly focused on my beats and mastering them with the standard stuff. If I want to continue, I will have to put more effort into figuring out all the functions. I do remember my words yes lol.
