I thoroughly enjoyed this track...having said that, I haven't yet heard the original...have to check that out sometime today. The first thing that came to mind when I first listened to it was Need For Speed. Not sure if you are familiar with the Need For Speed racing video games, but this track sounded similar to the menu & race music on the game. @170 bpm, it's sounds a bit slower than that lol, but I like the ambiance sounds & the sliding bass. The chime is a nice touch as well, although I think it's volume is too loud and background vox isn't loud enough...Good track overall!
Ah makes me think of Telefon Tel Aviv a little bit...especially with the glitch but also there is a real chill vibe to the track too. It's strange cos it doesn't sound like the tempo is 170. I really like that chime sound you've included...airport lounges spring to mind and busy travellers and Naomi Campbell with her entourage in tow...there's a lady who certainly always wants more :)
I like it, its different to the original certainly but you've still maintained core elements.
thanks elaine .... I've been waiting all day for someone to give me an opinion.... and I'm glad the first one is you... thanks for giving me the opportunity to remix sister.. I'll have to send one your way if you hear one you'd like to take a run at let me know... thanks again
This is an awesome, piano is so good, relaxing chill out vibe!
just like Elaine, I like it as is,without the vocals, honestly I'm not sure that this track would sounded better with the vocals!
Great work bro,I enjoyed this track!Fav
I love that haunting piano melody. I think you could probably get away without vocals on the track and perhaps add another instrument like strings, but personally I like it as is. Mellow and chilled.
Thats a pretty damn sexy joint you got going on here mayne!
Love the piano and the halfway breakbeat that slides or however you say it. Just an awesome awesome track, and awesome track.
Deff needs so vox!
I mean.. hah.. I can remember when I was really into the Sex Pistols, and like... Green Day... and then I just woke up the next day.. and I didn't give a crap for the dudes anymore..
And I still look back on that... moment in time, of my life,... with joy.. and no regrets... but I had to move on?
The reason I say that broseph, is because I think your ... divergence from the DnB territory is a necessary growing pain bro.
No matter how much you love that original idea, you can always look back on it, and be like... I was THERE.
That was me.
For a short periods of time, do we have the opportunity to have our voice heard.. and being a person, that has seen you go thru a huge amount of growth....
It's epic.
This is great...
Amazing.
Piany is wonderful.

Man liking this one alot, beautiful piano, nice easy layed back beat, even if you dont put vocals to this one, I think it stands well on its own, nice percussion to go with the beat, nice arrangement and clarity of your mix here, everything standing out, and in place where it should, as in everything having its own place but making the track complete...Fav'd...Peace n Respect mate...Estefano..
Tired of D&B you say? Hmm, have you tried your hand @ Trip-hop yet? That's a pretty fun one to play with (and has the same essence of the other IMO). I can feel your pain when it comes to growing tired of a certain sub-genre. Which is why I tend to venture out into messing with other styles so often (usually coming up with a fusion of different things). So if Trip aint yer thing that's another one you could try.
As for the song, I def can see the Cine aspect, though it still carries that darkness of low tones that're a part of D&B (my suggestion there would be to bump up the keys by about 2 levels, C2 to C4, ya know). I would say that this'd make a perfect transitionary piece between yer D&B and other stuff. Breaking it up with a decent sine raise and delving into...??? Anyways, pretty interesting stuff here mate. Lates!
Dunno what it is, but you can never go wrong with Nasa samples, amirite? Am also diggin the funky way you've got the melody soundin on this (as if heard distorted through the vacuum of space). This makes me think of what it'd be like if Roni Size & Amon Tobin got together on a collab. Pretty crazy mix mate. Lates!
Lol ' sounds like that BassLine is really trying to say something, *A BuZZin Banger for sure* i see in this track you have let most of the kit do the pulling, giving a lot of freedom to the Bass, good call ! Jamie aka Mad_ManX/Tomahawk :)
This is awsome man. really like those sound effects really adds that shuffle fealing too it :) one thing tho the bass isnt really comming thru too well maybe compress it or bring the levels of everything else down
thanks brother... I always love make this kinda industrial feeling track...sadly it doesn't come into my brain too often when I make tracks...thanks once again for taking the time brother
I've said previously, I find your work very inspiring, and this was pure "music" that I enjoyed listening too and connected with it!
I was with Nine Inch Nails from the very beginning and was blown away with how diverse the music was. I find you a very interesting person and musician!
Spacing is nice, levels are okay in some areas, the variation is good but the thing is that around 1:58 the bass sound changes and gives it a differnt feel. Similar but almost too different. It's a strange track to say the least, the sounds are interesting, but sounds more like an experiment than anything. No offense just putting it out there.
All the levels and eqing are decent, so nothing to say there.
Sounds good, so keep it up!
Steve
Great stuff! I like the industrial sound. hard hitting yet not grating. nice job on the mix. feels like it should be longer. maybe I just want more? haha. thanks for the great
track
Great start, I like the build up. I would love to use this for my Ambient Dub-Hop genre. Email me at Coszier@yahoo.com and we can see what we can smash together if you're interested.
Mate you are mastering the new genre's very well, I have to agree with Wayne, doing different genres does help you as a musician, I know myself it has helped me heaps, even helped with Trance as you know is my fav genre to do, ambient is the word for this piece my friend, extremely good listen, liking the guitar at the beginning (well it sounds like a spanish type of guitar), sweet synths and pads, working well with the beat, very good arrangement to keep listener interested for the whole trip...into fav's matey...Peace and thank you for sharing your talent...Estefano...
Mate what a very nice intro to this one, nice beat, can see why you named it as you did, does have a Marching feel about this piece, very nice synths, again as I have come to expect for your works, very good clarity, very nice FX to go with the beat and synths, really like the distorted sound in this one my friend, extremely pleasant/thought provoking and relaxing at the same time...Fav'd...Peace n Respect mate...Estefano...
i had a listen but i will base my review based on the sounds because this is not my type of music. but the sounds are cool you must of took your time with this because it sounds well structured the distort effect is cool i think that when it comes to making all types of music you seem to adapt very well to the genre but great track keep the, coming

Screw Genres.
That's for followers.
You seem more like an innovator in my opinion.
