Mate It was one of my tracks from a very long time ago I should get back into production it is just finding the time for it I have a few more to upload then I will start making more thanks again
imagine "now, discombobulate" popping in lol
I like it, the actual song is good but i think the transitions between narration and music could use a little more work, a lack of consistent pulse throughout just makes it sounds strange.
In the first drop, timing really takes a lot of oomph out of it, I might try cutting mid scream at 1:15, then keeping the tom loop & some bass throughout second narration to keep tempo. The last transition into narration does a good job of smoothing, so something like for the first as well would do wonders. But these are just small issues, the tracks overall theming and sound is good
Very noise based, definitely D&B. Kinda wish there was more in the high frequency range to fill in the space (hats are trying). Maybe add a hint of white noise or some reverb on some keys parts to get a little less dry (or even a ride thought that wouldn't be very D&B). Just a thought.
Being this a preview, maybe you had some improvement in your mind, right? So, for the purpose dnb was created, the general volume of the track imho is too low. Despite this, there's a tiny distortion, more audible in the first half of the track. Pump up the volume (dance!dance!), make some noise! More, don't leave too much "Blank Space" at the end, for some reasons i find it pointless ('cause there's a waste of megabaytes available in your account too, mind it!). Last but not least, try to keep a certain thread in track, in my ears this track seems a collage of several tracks. (It's just my opinion, not the absolute truth)
That said, i would like to listen to complete version asap!
Love the energy and vibes on this one. Levels are good and it has a good sound profile. Time well spent on a job well done. Thanks for sharing, SubSpace.
Nice beat, clear sound, variations come to break the repetitiveness at the right time, I think you could add some more stuff, there is space in the spectrum but as is already great.
Nice job !
I'm first to comment, but I'm sure I won't be the last...this is a great track...I love the chime synth in the intro. When it gets grimy and dirty its a bit of a surprise lol...but I like it. Its the kind of track I need to hear playing loud in the Purple Turtle at 2 or 3 in the morning!
Yep, drumstep. A full time 174 drop on that last part would have killed it. Great track nonetheless. I like the synths and the cinematic overall atmosphere. Good job!
hey dude, i definitely dig the dark and i really dig the funk. Good job my friend, i'll be keeping an eye out for more from you.
peace

hey thanks for the comment glad you like my dnb track i will be extending this track soon as i feel the beat structure is to short but any hows if you like my music i very rarely post here but i do have a soundcloud here is a link feel free to give me a follow and browse my tracks
You are correct sir, this is what you are known for! I will admit to not listening to DnB as much as I used to, but then again there aren't as many people making cool tracks like this around here. Cold and dark are words that come to mind when listening to this. The flowing basses coming in and out of focus, they sound very cool! I actually have been wondering if my sub was suffering a bit, and it's good to have something like this to test it. Might still have some life in it, though it's definitely not as vibratory as it used to be. I can imagine this song with hard distorted guitar in place of the lead bass here, and being a heavy metal sort of tune, so that's cool. The outro reminds me of some psy trance or something, good way to end it. Fun to hear!
liking the `industrialness` to it .. and that bass line at the end work so well with the atmosphere
the only thing I would say is that you might wanna go back and look at the wideness of the stereo field.... maybe throw some more fx in there to lend towards the idea of the dark atmosphere... whispers...dub fx maybe ...I dont know just spit balling here..
