really digging the arrangement and folds dip and turns - crunchy as hell and never wanky - healthy dose of metal - a truly rewarding listen, much respect!
Cool song man, could def see me sitting down smoking a joint to this at some point lol. Excellent guitar work and tone. How do you create your guitar sound? I want to start incorporating my guitar into songs but i have no idea what is the best way to go about it! And yeah i think some vocals would just top this off, get on it! lol Overall great production and vibe, good job! Peace
Cheers and thanks for taking the time to have a listen.I normally play industrial/metal but i like to chill out now and again.Used my electro acoustic with guitar rig for the guitar tones, also played the bass on this one as well.Im prety much a novice myself when it comes to recording the guitar, its a bit of a hit/miss thing at the moment. Not really a vocalist but will try and lay some down when i get rid of this cold i got.
hello - i dunno A3 from a hole in the ground, but this is got such a cool soundvibe! like being at a fair or festival with music and carnies barking from every side and a band blasting away - solos rolling down the hills, catching snatches in the wind(do not get me wrong), sun and sensory overload. really effective soundscaping, much respect!
Yes i really love this it great. a solid loop of it would help. and maybe a screenshot of the composition so i know when to come in. im gonna get to work on it on monday. Also id would need to know the bpm. Do u have aim or yahoo?
The track is 120bpm,do u need a better quality sound file or could u just download the mp3.I will have to install yahoo messenger, never got round to it
Great dark sound u got going on with your music,Fine red mist.Glad u thought my track was good enough to want to do some vocals for it,Which would be great by the way. Let us know if u need anything.
im digging the vocal style but im not hearing everything except the chorus its alot louder but the verses in the begining are low the groove and synths are fXXkin raw! hard pounding too! for real the melodys are addictive, lots of people try for melody but never acheive it, but you have in a hard way! right at about 3:00 were the changup occurs there is a loss of hiss/ ambience that kinda disturb the flow a little bit if you could fade that out or somthing rather then the abrupt cutoff, it would sound smoother, but its a great track so it dosent really take much away, but since i try to give constructive meaningfull reviews i had to point it out ;)!

about guitar sound (your ? in the review of my song, im now realizing you play) aside from adjusting the eq/mix after recording the guitar i think a lot of the definaition of the sound comes into volume levels and there realation to the other layers of sound, basically when i decide im far enough along in the creative process & i need to take control of my mix, i turn everything down or mute it, then i start with drum eq/ vol then guitars then bass then other misscellanious noise anyways, point being how musical layers are somewhat defined by the sequencial order you do your volume and eq mix in? if that makes sense?
but yeah no shXit great tune! kinda reminds me of a local industrial dude in the states here called bolt, you can check him out on myspace, i think you could appreciate some of his "mix" techniqes....
Nice track man, keep them coming. Sounds a bit Marilyn Manson and a bit of Mortis. Some of the vocals are a little out, apart from that I think it's really good man. One of the most pro sounding track I've heard on here.
Sounds pretty good to me, mc. The drums could maybe use a bit of compression, and perhaps you could EQ the various channels to separate the instrument sounds somewhat. The music really adapts to Ray's pella very well. All in all, pretty tight jam, man.
Thanks for taking the time to listen and review the track,i took your advice and added eq to some tracks and compression to the drums. Not perfect by a long shot, but is sounding alot better, thanks for the advice/help. Ive just put up the updated version up,if u want to take a listen.
Hey mcskynard, thanks very much for using my acapella. I think the pace, pitch and instruments in this track sound great and do it much justice. I think once you fine tune things and master the volume and compression of the instruments that it will be perfect.
Cheers Ray,its taken its time this one,ive updated the track with the latest version ive done, but still a few bits and sound that need to be sorted. Not very good at mastering though, like most of my stuff its a bit hit or miss.
i was digging the track, to me it sounded very loud and flat, i don't hear the high spikes in the music, and u sound like you have track that is totally over whelming the whole song. it sounds like. if you want to go industrial meatal the best example i cound give you would be some old "MINSTRY", they are very loud and lots sound, but the sound is very laired. hard to to do with lots of sound and noise. and i was digging the lyrics, singer has that nice angry voice i like. thats my opion but it sounds like a good song , can't wait to hear the final copy, well take it EAZY !!!
Wow,great guitar again and love those riffs,wait...where did that awesome lead come from...that's what I get for startin to review while listening.I thought it was really good then it just got better.
well done!
Allen
Thanks for listening to the tracks Allen,i mainly use guitar rig3 for my sound, sometimes i use amplitube3 metal, which i find has a more aggressive tone.
You have a great guitar sound here and the drums are killer.I had to find you again cause i heard this earlier today and made a note but couldn't read my writing.
Thanks Rev,its always good when someones takes their time to listen to my songs and download them.Just checked out your tracks, great stuff, better than a lot of songs u get in the charts over here.Think i could get into ur style of german electro pop, quite easily.
Thanks for taking the time to have a listen, its always good when another guitarist likes ye stuff.Just checked your songs out as well quality songs there all of them, into my industrial metal alot at the moment, and i would add all of them to my collection.
