I have been trying to put together
all the stuff I figure I'm going to need
to do vids. I think what would be most helpful
to me now would be some do's and don'ts to get started.
I'm all ears and hopefully a fast learner. :-)
Hi Jynxz i think i need to go back to my comments about your cry for help out with vids? i miss something here i think so i will read your comment again
Awesome, the psychedelic sounds and arrangement was amazing. That vox at 1:10, surprised the s**t out of me. Cool synth solo. There was a lot of thought brought into this mixing a few genres. Itś retro and future at the same time mate. A job well done. Its way too short, that fade out made me believe there was more to come ehh?
You have earned two White rabbits, a bunch of Moby grapes and a Fink Ployd tee-shirt complete with mustard stains.
I apologize for the late reply.
My wife came home from a 13 week
Nursing assignment, plus her birthday
is today sooo, I haven't gotten much computer
time this week(If you know what I mean):-).
I really appreciate your encouraging comments and
I'm looking forward to the "Fink Ployd tee shirt/with mustard stains.
BTW... Since my wife has been home I've been living on the Moon just in case you need an address to send my tee shirts. "-)
this is just so in the fucking zone, man! an intense best effort. i was blown away at 15sec and never looked back, this is really good, my friend, like really.
I'm glad you enjoyed this track, I'm
still waiting for the inspiration for
a "Psychotronicartfunk track to come my
way so I help jumpstart the genre:-)
Thank you for your listen and encouraging comments
Why did you stop at the 3 mins mark??? At around 2.45 starting the peak of the song with that hellfueled, f..king awesome final riff and groovy ...
ahhh, actually this IS your best ... instant fav, dl and hats off, Danke
Wow I was just telling one of my LM buddies that you were one of the first LMer's that gave me some positive feedback on LM.I also told him that meant a lot because I was/sill am totally impressed with all the music you've posted on LM.
I try really hard to stay at exactly 3 min because of comments I got back in the day about posting 6 and 7 min tracks. So now it has become a habit for me to just set my DAW to 3min and insert the music, in a manner of speaking.
I'm really glad, and it's very encouraging that you enjoyed this track.
Hola amigo Jynxz, me gusta como suena tu pista, es alegre, con guitarras funkys muy agradables y una excelente linea de sintetizador bien escogida y muy amena. Excelente tema. Que pases una buena tarde. Paz y salud.
I appreciate the complement but,
I'm hoping we'll get there on the next
StarTravels mission. Perhaps in the near
future.
Thanks for the listen and motivating comments.
Great funky number with a wonderful array of instruments, that vocal, both male and female are fire the drum beat is hot and that snare is lit, fantastic job my friend
This is what I love about this site and a lot of the regular contributors, the joy of hearing people just in love with being creative just for the hell of it, not trying to get famous or whatever. That's my take and I'll keep believing it :) Oh and this was great, that opening riff was truly funktastic and off the hook. And the bits of voice etc right on the money.
Personally I think keeping it real with your music opens up
the whole world of music not just the style of a specific genre. Don't get me wrong, we love what we love and that could fall in just one genre but, I think we should not be afraid to
say (musically) what we think. That's one of LM's greatest strengths (in my opinion). So far I have gotten nothing but encouragement here and I think that helps us all move forward on our individual music journeys. Too much coffee!
Maybe not a genre, but Psychotronicartfunk can be your first album, or possibly group name. Save the genre inventing for the critics. Uncategorizable is almost always the most interesting.
Nice original work, I like the trippy panning.
I'm gonna keep picking on you and mark till I hear a song with an actual ending :3
The creativity here is absolutely off the chain. The intro reeks of Hendrix, Buddy Miles, and Billy Cox. Like a way back machine. Those vocals and percussion fit perfectly. Then you come in with that synth solo! The outro left me wanting more. Great mix and effects
Hi Jynxz.
Sounds nice and spacy what yo didd here and the meaning behind is making it more special.
i read your funny way discription and the comments.
Its so nice to see old members acting and reacting like this and how they become big producers on Lm but always there to give the beginners also comments ..just how they didd start.
like you always say:

Thank you for listening to my track and reading

if you realize how intimidating it is when
you first get on LM and hear guys like you Cru and many of the other great sounding music producers that were here on LM when I first came on board in 2019. I have received nothing less than a warm welcome and tons of helpful advice from the LM community. I plan to pay it forward as best I can with whoever I come in contact with
new or old.
Thank you for your listen and encouragement

PEACE...So Jynx, I can honestly say I felt the same way as you when I joined in 2012. And I was lucky to find a great group of musicians in the early days who gave the right advice and which many have moved on. So I get where you are at, and believe me it is humbling to be put into the echelon you have described that you think we inhabit. Truth be told you guys the new group coming up are amazing for many reasons, mostly for the support and camaraderie you have for each other, but truly for the respect, you have for us dinosaurs. the respect goes both ways, and know that I truly appreciate what you are bringing to the table musically. Thanks for listening and appreciating. You guys have such talent and itś a pleasure to listen to it.

I totally forgot I sent you that synth bass line. Had to take a break to get some things lined out in real life. Nice use of the track. I'll be back soon.
I like it. It's got a good funky-ass groove to it. The guitar is pretty cool, but the bass line takes it for me. Between the music and the description in the Lyrics section, I'm willing to go out on a limb here and say that you're a fan of the P-funk. But, really, how could anyone NOT be, right?
In regards to Mr. Crucethus, I think he and I started here at the Loop just weeks apart, 12 years ago. It's been a hell of a journey watching him grow and evolve as an artist. I've always been able to count on him for some interesting-as-fuck insights, comments, and criticisms. His complete lack of regard for in-the-box rules of music is inspiring at the very least.
There are very few artists here that participate like we all did back in the hey-day, but you new batch of regulars...I like you guys. You keep the feeling of community alive. The place has a pulse again. Good on ya for that!
