[What follows is my off-the-cuff-as-I-listen response to your track. Take what works and feel free to ignore whatever doesn't.]
Interesting ambiance. I like the plucky strings.
Echoes on that metalaphone thing work very well. I like the drums that come in at ~0:55. I have a good groove going.
The cut the drums swell then BOOOoooooom is good, but the drum entrance doesn't pick me up and throw me back into the song like I'd like it to. That drop might need some more work.
I love the swells that come in ~1:50. It drops into the slow stuff really well. There's a lot of something going on. The background white noise is a surprisingly good addition.
Not sure what to make of that running bassline at 2:45. It kind of comes in out of nowhere. The lead you bring in after fits with the part well, but it seems slightly out of place with the rest of the track.
Big wind swell at 3:25 is interesting. There's a bit more empty space at the end of it that I'm not a fan of, but I like the "back to the intro" sound. Those drums are still a great pick. I'm sad they stopped, but the ambiance sounds good for an ending. Their entrance back in at 4:40 is perfect.
Your ending is great until that last second. I'd prefer you to drop the volume at the end of that chirp thing and put it through a delay with some reverb so it fades out before getting to that high note.
Great track; I really enjoyed listening to it. Thanks for posting.
Too much changes, if you would delete some, song would be awesome as it has a good quality.
Good luck and thanks for review on my track it's really helping as I will be able to improve it!
This is a very comfortable and revealing track! It definitely puts some pictures in my head. Really cool choice of instruments to make this track feel complete. The ambient interludes are very uplifting. Thank you for creating and sharing this track!
I see you like the "jag luiperd"(Cheetah) I've seen them hunt in real life and I got the chanche to play with a domesticated one once, cause I live in South Africa. Anyway the sinths are awsem and good quality but... to me the beat change way too quickly and all harmony are lost. Just like my reqruit does. He places like 6 different loops in a row and hopes they work. Maybe if you use a drum roll intro, that would sort everything out. Making of a good project ;)
There are two voices in this track - an "innocent" voice and an "experienced" voice. The experienced voice opens a new world to the innocent voice and permits the innocent voice to blossom into its own experience. With all that said, I can hear where there are some opportunities to smooth the transitions between those voices to tell a better story. Thanks for your feedback!
Opening is chill. While I listen - loved the cat slave comment. It's true, the cat we got here is manipulating me with it's purr right now. In fact, the cat likes the song and says hi and that he wanted me to tell you to tell that cat in your picture to fk off.
Wow the cat and I are purring man. Nice track. Favoritingly interesting. ya got us.
especially love when she starts making guitar sounds like if i had to spell what is sounds like she is saying it's bdlbin. Nice track thr.
LOL Cats crack me up. I have several cats, but one in particular that if she rubs on the monitor while a track is playing, then I'm done. If she walks around it, I still have some work to do. I made this track a few years ago when she was less "critical".
fun transitions. good production. The bass line kinda wore on me after awhile. It is good and catchy. It struck me as a bit too much of a good thing maybe. Over all, I wish I could produce more like this.
While I like the bass line, I do agree that I probably could switch it up a bit. If I ever get back to revising that track (the loops are long lost), I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for the review!
Hey music buddy thanks for the reviews much appreciated, i like this track, i wouldnt call it dance though more like ambient chillout, gives off a great mood feeling and the vibes are well felt, even tough i think this would mix really well into something a little more uptempo or even a bit of dnb, but hey keep doing wat you do i expect to hear more :)
Animal, thx for your review. I agree it's probably a little more on the chillout side, but it makes me dance in my seat when I listen to it - lol. Keep up what you're doing, too!
Nice work!! It's not not chocolate. You know people are very interested in brains that make connections between music and other senses right now, so know that that is special and keep up the good work.
Thank you, Ken. I remember at one specific point while working on this one that I had the distinct notion to have the listener "taste with their ears" and I started listening for what the flavor might be. Sounded like gooey rich chocolate to me. =)
