Cool groovy track! I like the vintage pop vibe! You said you used a pella from me, but I don't have any uploaded... did you use a loop of mine or something? Anyway, really good track!

I like how u implemented the vocals. They sound like they were meant for this song. Real funky. Cool chord progression.

This is sick...very vintage I love the vibe of it, unfortanately I have to say i'm not satisfied withe the vocals..I was hoping for some cheesy Hall n oates or a soothing Sade spin off lol

Thanks for the comments. Yes, I agree... vocals are definitely the problem. A soothing Sade would be great!

Whoa, you made me turn up my speakers with this one! This is the perfect setting for AnomalyJ's vocals, it seems like they were made for eachother! I love the instrumentation on this one, it's an excellent ensemble! I'm really digging this one... Faved and DL'd! Thanks for sharing!

Glad you like it. The vocals certainly inspired me, and I built up the chorus around them.

Hey. I really like this. Would you mind sending me the instrumental to play with it and add my own vocals?

Not at all, that would be great. I had problems trying to find the right vocals, so I'd love to hear what you do with it. I'll email them to you asap (might have to be after Christmas though).

Cheers, the DAW is Reaper. When I did this track I was recording more audio from my RS5 synth (eg the clavinet and synth lead), but since I've discovered all the free VSTi's around I've mainly been using them. Especially alphaCM and Crystal which I got with a magazine when I decided to start doing music again.

Great, pleased you like it :) I threw the classic Rhodes and Clavinet in there... my favourites. I'm just discovering some of the amazing synths that are out there as well... this was just using presents!

Thanks, glad you like it :) This is only my second track, but it looks like I may have found a direction for the next one. I'll have to have a listen to the jazzy version based on Holly's acapella.
