hey man this is entirely inappropriate and offensive...nah just kidding. I presume that's the man with the kinky moustache speaking. I always found the old footage of those rallies and speeches oddly compelling as grandiose theatre (objectively at least and ignoring what they actually represented). but you kind of captured that cinematic or theatrical impression with this one.
I completely agree with sticking to your signature style. But I also think you need to allow room for improvement and evolution.
As far as this track goes, I like it. It's got a touch of Depeche Mode, Massive Attack and a little bit of Dead Can Dance. Which, until now, a combination that I never thought would have worked.
Actually all three of the bands you mention are influences on my work, particularly Massive Attack. That 90's era Bristol scene is my number one influence for sure. Thanks for stopping by & listening. I appreciate it.
It's a very full and complete track. I really enjoy the driving rhythm underneath keeping everything organized. Great choice of instruments. Great track.
brilliant production. the fastness of the music makes the increasingly urgent vox burrow deeper and deeper into my ears, and the end really achieves a synergy worthy of using the term.
The intro is super intriguing, nice drive, a tasty amount of FX.
Is this next level Rap? writing, arranging and execution superb!
Great track.
PEACE...
Dark and ominous. I like how the vocals aren't straight out in your face, makes them more mysterious. The listener has to listen more closely and isn't that what we want as music producers? Cool track.
AWw yeah, awesome intro and chord progressions. ethereal voices in my head. sounds coming at me from every angle. This is my fav from you mate. really good. really spooky. A night at the new-gothic club called Nec-non contristatur non sunt turpia . (neither sentimental nor dirty) we have it all here. Crucifixions, Roman centaurians, barbarians, Dan Cortes, and a piss artist named Shy. It´s the latest best club in the underground of NYC. ;-)
