Great track and some really nice chord changes and super solo's in this - I agree with DrNapalm though about some of the levels -nothing a quick remix wouldn't remedy. Great job.
Will do an adjustment on accordian volume but as for changing the feel....the name is CAJUN Moonlight after all...it's supposed to change it. Thanks for your support.
Cool piano, and I liked how prominent the drums were, but the accordion transition didn't really work (completely changed the mood of the song) and the accordion was really loud. On the other hand, the solos were really cool.
Glad you liked it, my music just can't fit into any one genre it seems. I am at this time deleting some one my previous songs and uploading some new ones, check out my account to listen to all my tracks.
Very impressive. I would have put it in the 'cinematic' genre though. It seems like it would be at home in a movie. Did you sequence the ethnic flute parts yourself, or use pre-existing loops?
Agree with A.J,I'm totally in love with this harmonica and the whole song carries a great feel.Don't know what to add cause it's so hard reviewing after A.J,lol
Big congrats and thanks for the walk

I did picture what you had in mind. This music kind of reminded of something that would be on the Sim City soundtrack. Its groovy and chill at the same time. I liked it. Keep em' coming!!
Nice job, the music really speaks, and gives a great depiction. I know what you mean by your comments about not getting turned off by religious references, a lot of people won't give a track a chance if it is religious, I think there is a stereotype that religious music sounds bad, which is wrong, my songs consist of two topics, God and family and I think they are good and unique. Anyway good job on this, well worth the listen.
Not overly a big fan of country, well the older style anyways, this is very good, very laid back all most chillout type, really great harmonica/Guitar in this, very nice piece, great work man...
Wow. I love this one - and seeing 3 previous reviews and as many faves is a good validation as to why. (I'm adding it, too.) What a great fusion of Funk, Jazz, and Chill Out! Doing this for your daughter, it's easy to see what an inspiration she can be. Cheers!
Hey!
Decided to check out some of your stuff after you left me a comment.
This track is very interesting not only because there are many things going on but because it gives a feeling, it makes me want to picture the walk in the finest detail.. amazing!
I like how well the hi-hat triplets work. :)
All in all reminds me of something that Pink Floyd could come up with.
This is sooooooooo refreshing. You never hear anything like this ever on looperman. You got this down to a tee between the percussion and everything. Another beautiful song from you. Your really good at putting things together.
I see your basically a bass player? I also played Bass for a time when I had my own band. loved it. I have a 1972 Fender Precision.
I hear some Pedal Steel in here as well. I also play that. You can see the pics in my profile. I own an Emmons double neck 10 string with 8 floor pedals and 7 knee levers.
I also play 5-string banjo...but not much anymore. Love the sound.
You did a nice job putting this tune together. I also used Harmonia loops in my country/Cajun tune. Give it a listen when you get a chance. i think you'll enjoy it as there are no other real Cajun tunes on here.
The very first song I posted here was a country tune by the way. Just a short tune with some fiddle loops.
