Thanks for the kind comments. FL Studio is a very underated DAW and like most things in life there's a lot of snobbery in what people have. I've used Cubase but still go back to FL as it's so easy to use and the quality is there if you take the time to EQ and Master. If you need anything give me a shout. Malc :)
Many thanks for the review..she's got a great voice aint she. The track uploaded is unfinished and is just a clip of what I'm doing hence why it's so short. I'm hoping to complete this over the next couple of weeks :)
Pretty cool tune mate. The synth treatment ya made def fits with the acapella. Nice Euro-pop vibes going on here. One thing that I'd recommend is going back & watching your levels on the mix-down as it sounds like you've got a fair amount of red going on (some clipping too I suspect). Just FYI and all that. Cheers for the comments..well appreciated...yep your right about the levels especially the vocal..it's well overcooked on the version uploaded on here by Farisha and the mix I have aon here is pretty much raw and never bothered to spend a few hours tweaking blah. ;)

Thanks my friend. I used good old FL Studio to record this one using Nexus synth plugin and various Vengeance samples for drums/snares. The vocal was pinched from looperman Stephanie Kay Candy. I mucked about chopped (Soundforge) and filtered it (Fruity Love filter) and also used Melodyne to flatten out part of the vocal that I just could not get to pitch right (Cheating lol).
Dude! Finish this! What's there is simple, but very effective. I get images of lights and glowsticks and black lights.. er..candy, if that makes sense. I really like the vocal line at the beginning, and the sirens give it that ware-house/ old school rave theme. I'm excited about this man. Have you thought about adding some old school type vocals..like really soulful females singing? that would be awesome. Anyway, enough ranting from. Seeing as how you said this a rough draft so to say. Let us know when you've finished!! Cheers-- MoJ
Cheers for that. I'm glad you got what I was trying to put over. There's a lot to do on this yet and I will finish it when I get a decent vocal. I think simple is the best..back to basics as too many people are trying to impress others with too many effects and sily tricks if you get my meaning.

Not a bad sound but could really bebefit from EQ ing and an overall mastering, I use Ableton live 7 meself but im sure FL has all the mastering tools!! Music production is an addiction mate please be warned!! lol!! good luck and keep it up!!
Yeah..I did say on the comments about it being unmastered! I tend to use T-Racks to master as it's much better than FL. To be honest I just wanted to see if I got a reaction and then spend some time on it tidying and adding a breakdown blah. Much appreciate the review. :)
