Good sound and well put together. Could still use some playing with and adding here and there, but overall good track. I agree with Kenikos on adding in a slower part to build the energy again. Keep at it though!
I really like the spacey, other worldly feel to this one. I think Mary Doria Russell is right in her book "The Sparrow." Our first discovery of life on other planets in this universe is likely to come by way of hearing some of their music drifting electronically across space. Wasn't music one of the first things we broadcast over the radio and into space? Now if E.T's are listening to music like this on on their home worlds then maybe we don't have too much to worry about if we ever meet them. Nice job on this track. -Ken
This track does sound like you have taken control and mastered putting together a lot of power and energy into a well crafted piece. I like the breaks and pauses between bursts. It's a little bit short I think and perhaps if it were extended I would add some quieter elements as a counterbalance and relief to all the energy, but what you have here is quite enjoyable. Good job. -Ken
I disagree with your friend. I see a computer as being just as much a musical instrument as a flute, guitar or piano. Instead of making the sounds by blowing, strumming or moving your fingers, you can make sounds by cutting and pasting loops inside a software program ....and you can even change the pitch and tempo of each loop too. So I think it is just as valid a form of music as any other. Who knows.....someday we may be able to create music that others can hear simply by doing nothing more than thinking about the sounds in our minds. Anyway, I like what you have done on this track. It's got power and energy and is well composed. Sounds like music to me...quite good music. -Ken
