Man, its crazy to think how much i hated the saxophone for years. And now i cant get enough of it. My big brother is still the coolest dude in the world to me (just dont tell him I said that lol) and its easy to like the stuff that he does. Hes been on a jazz kick lately, so Ive been on that kick with him lol. You and Mark consistently upload songs with best use of Saxophones we've ever heard. All instrumentation is great, really tho. Another track that made us feel like we're in a dimly lit mini-club filled with cigar smoke and faces half hidden in shadow, listening to live music. Noir!

Hey Mate, We should have a chat one day, as I think I would be mesmerized by the artistic connections and stories you would have would be mind-blowing. I am a retro-Futurisic sort of artist and tend to touch the esoteric, but damn, I appreciate the Histoire and ennui of what you have experienced. In my University days, I DJ'ed at the radio station. I met the local talent at the time in NYC, Pepi Marcello of the "Good Rats", who was promoting his own Son's band Marcello, and told me about the upcoming album from Meatloaf on CBS (Bat out of Hell 2). My friend drummed for the Rosenburgs before they kicked him out, as they were on the cusp of success. I served Dee Snyder and his Wife when I worked at Costco on Long Island Many years ago, and they were the absolute nicest people. Every time, I was so impressed as he trekked up to Quebec to sing with Isabelle Boulay on a Quebec T show last year. I moved to Quebec when I met and married my wife (Who used to sing Opera and introduced me to that world), and have loved the music up here as well. I love listening to the new and weird music of the world, and remixed and influenced a few artists, but mostly now I putter around and try to give some sage wisdom to the willing here on Looperman. I took a break for about 8 months as both my parents passed in the last year, and I found it hard to be inspired to write again.

Cosmo! So its 3am and this got me feeling some type of way! This is a sonic feast. Especially with that upright bass. My new track Im putting the final touches has an acoustic bass.

The journey of this track is totally over the top. Very well done!

Ive learned alot about music from my brother over the years, Id follow him around to band practice and later on, id sit by him while he was on the computer making music and id ask him a million questions. Out of the many things i learned, the most important to me was when he said to listen to music with more than just my ears, and also that music truly rewards those with an open mind. Then i joined the community here and I understand those things even more now. Ive been introduced to alot of different types of music that id not heard before, and now i also take inspiration from all sorts of things. I thought it was important to explain that before my actual comment. Because the artistry on display here is mind blowing, and without those early lessons i might not have understood how to truly hear it. Another huge benefit for me is working with so many talented people from different places around the world, and it looks like this song has some diverse creative minds behind it, as well. I have an idea that Id be MUCH more rusty if I hadnt touched a microphone for like 5 years, let alone 35. Jeez man, we're not worthy. lol

Well, Im sure he will enjoy this one. My experience with jazz comes solely from this website, with Kingmt77 and the collabs that 1Godfather and DanMed did that feature alot of saxophone and jazz vibes. I gotta say, I really dig it. Especially since I didnt much care for the saxophone prior to listening to those pieces. You did well here, especially with it being unassisted piano. Piano and guitar are my top 2 when it comes to actually playing real instruments, Ive got 25 years of experience with the guitar. This made me want to hear some more jazz type songs, so youve done really well here.

nice jazz Cosmo, the intro gets you straight away, nice dedication to Mark, he is a truly good friend respected in the community and a fantastic artist and i can here the inspiration you took, Mark is great with soloing instruments especially brass like horns and trumpet, so nice touch in reflecting that, good work my friend, enjoyed my listen

IDK how I missed this one. I take my inspiration from alot of different places, many of which seem unlikely. But that's why I love music so much, and why I've been making music all my life. A 100% true story - my first words were "I wanna Rock" because I would hear that Twisted Sister song all the time. I swear, and people dont believe it, but its true. Destiny, man. Anyway, this song is inspiring, the structure and the thought process that put it together especially. My producer mind sees that stuff right away, while my musician mind appreciates the melodic elements. So well made it's shiny. Well done sir.

Portrays the chaotic confusion of the aftermath of a passing, as well as possibly, the chaos of the afterlife journey itself. That female vocal is divine and so emotional. A tapestry of soundscape, love and respect.

I forgot to add that I agree with u on the last man standing sentiment (I am, along with my brother) as well as the dogs. I have a dog and a cat, and if anyone meant them harm, theyd find the wrath of every deity in every pantheon coming for them, same as I would any friend or family member. great track Cosmo, and a great tribute to your sister, she would have been my soulmate i tend to create chaos wherever i go, it follows me around, like a shadow but all the chaos hassle and issues i have, made me the person i am today, im sure it was the same for your sis and its refreshing to here a banging track with great bass and tempo and not some funeral dirge, your work is of a high standard since your return I've heard all yours and none have disappointed, this is a top piece and right up my street mate
