the name drew me in but after hearing it i regreted it. lowlife has no style cusses too much had nothing original and probably has no idea what the true meaning of revelation is. the other guy was cool. the beat was too simple.
There's something amazing about youth and music. Dude when you were 12? Wow. This is really really cool. I love the melodies and omg you are talented those strings that come in are amazing and perfect. If anything, the phasing on the synth kinda lends to a muddleness as everything plays together, but apart from that, this is a solid track that deserves to continue evolution b/c it could a very affective, moving and epic song way beyond genre, but in the soul. Great work!!
Wow...You make it sound like this song was the beginning of music itself? haha Thank you very very much. Its always been my favorite because I was in a pretty depressed time in my life and I was just coming out of it. So it was.."After The Rain"
I recognize some of the loops on this. Ah ha, a fellow Logic user, yes/no?
Umm, as for the genre, hmm? I'm not really seeing it as being 'trance', but there are parts that are really melodic. I think it's the drums that throw it off for me. They're more urbane n tech-elect I'm thinkin. So if I were to guess I'd say that this is more 'fusion'.
And on the 3rd play it sounds like you've got yer head around making cool sounds with which loops to use. Now work on learning the software's other features (like fade-ins and outs of certain loops that are different). And then mess with tweekin the different volume levels in the Mastering mixer. Thanks for sharin. Later on!
Well I got some of the loops from a friend and used some on GarageBand and put all together on GarageBand. Like I said though, I made it when I was twelve I didnt even know all the other stuff I could do at the time, and Ive lost the original project so I cant change anything now. =/
Fusion ehh? Well that sounds good to me, haha. But yeah thanks for the advice and the criticism...it truely is, much appreciated.
thanx for the props man. your mix is tight.. probably in the top 5 of all the redos i've checked out. i dunno what tools you use but.. if possible.. to easily make that track go super hard I'd change the octave of that synth up/down during the hook. probably up one or two octaves with that synth and then run the same pattern in a C0 octave with a different instrument. overall your track was pretty tight tho. drums were bangin!!
