How does your old lady shake it? Like this, I guess.
Yeah, it's pretty funky stuff. I like the brass around 0:30 as it adds a funky new flavour.
1:24 is that sax? Cool sound and movement.
You have a pretty small waveform. I think you could really boost the power of the track with some mastering - compression, EQ and so on. Just to make it fatter and louder.
Yep that's sax at 1:24. I do all my mastering at landr.com. But I only get 2 free masters a month and I've developed quite a backlog of stuff that needs it. I didn't think I'd be this prolific... lol At this rate I'll have to buy a tool, or worse yet learn how to master myself. Thanks for checking it out and offering feedback.
Neuromancer it just shows what can be done with loops here at looperman its not easy blending various separate loops but you have done a good job of it here well done. Regards Robbie
This is a very catchy way to bring a bunch of loops together. The only thing I can think of to improve this might be to add something to break up the repetition at some point throughout the track!
yeah, this is a very cool mix of those brilliant loops...I'm not surprised that you got more downloads than the others cause it's very catchy and groovy...and the end comes in the good momment cause I thought it could be good for some changes in the structure...:-)
Very smooth overall. You can definitely switch it up though. The Rhodes are smooth as wine and the drums were a great choice. This perfect for a short film, or some b-roll in a video/movie.
Thanks for the suggestion. It felt repetitive to me too, especially the trumpet blasts, so instead of having all of them go before the sax solo, I moved a group of them after the sax solo and that breaks it up a little. Also I softened the drums just a bit to make it even smoother.
I was hooked at :28 seconds, when the staccato bass kicked in. You did a good job making all the instruments work within the rhythm.
My only suggestion would be instead of the second guitar, some chords to fill out the melody, but that's just my preference. It's still a good tune. My best to you.
Thanks wikkid. I haven't replied to your comment because I hear what you are saying. I've been ruminating over your comment for a while now and I bought Shreddage II and Odesi to help me with chords, but I still have a lot to learn about melodies and chords and how to get better sounds out of Shreddage until I can actually make this track better rather than making it worse. Actually upon reading this I figured out something else. You're suggesting taking the first guitar and have it play both melody and some chords instead of a second guitar doing the chords correct? Or are you referring to getting rid of the third guitar that plays really fast notes?

Well done, even if it is just all samples.

Quality sounding loops by some quality loop makers! Sounds great, nice mix, upbeat, positive, great for an early Saturday morning to get me moving.
