Im going to be like Simon whatever his name is on that TV show and say that it needs a lot of work!! you have just one drone instrument playing a repetitive motif and there is no melody. I cannot feel a beat, I don't even know what the time signature is.

I agree with the commenter above. I loved the end from the 1:00 min mark the sustained chord sounds cool. I see you asked somewhere if you should give up. If you enjoy it, don't. Music takes practice, it's work but it is rewarding. I practice hours a day and should be better than I am but it has become a part of who I am. I could never give it up. And for some forms you are more restricted by your equipment but that is pretty easily remedied these days. Good luck!!

I think the intro needs more variation. It goes on for too long and becomes repetitive really quickly. I would suggest adding some percussion or perhaps another synth to make it more interesting.

The mix sounds a little bit muffled and as the song progresses it gets harder to hear everything clearly. This happens specifically around the 0:58 mark. I think you should EQ things that should help.

Overall, you're off to good start and if you keep working on it, this track can be really good.
