Hello andre778, just gave your track a listen.....vocals are not standing out....musical accompaniment could use some separation thru mixing and mastering....it's a nice track with a little more tweaking needed.
Not to sound like I'm making excuses. But it's very difficult to do that, when you're using gaming headsets for mixing. Lol. Got use what ever is available to me. In those headsets. Sounds like her voice was loud enough. And sounds like everything's spread out. But thank you all for the comments. Need to hear about if I'm doing something right or wrong.
Hello, I also think this is a nice melodic pop song, but a few tweaks to the mix would do it some good. I think, as Kay already mentioned, this beautiful voice gets lost in the instrumentation. Also, the spatial distribution of the soundstage could have been better and more optimally utilized. The individual instruments could be placed better. At the moment, everything is too centered. If you spread things out more to the right and left and place only the drums and bass close to the center, the singer would stand out more. This is such a beautiful song. Invest a little more time and work into the mix and master. Believe me, it will be worth it! Best regards, Manuela.
Lovely pop rhythm and sweet vox. Just a thought, my immediate impression was that the soft female vocal was somehow getting a bit lost volume-wise under the musical side of the production - Very nice pop song, however . Kayos
Hello, I agree with Anthony's opinion. Great vocal line that is well supported and carried by your part. However, in my opinion, the song needs a few additional elements to give it more excitement and variety. Slight temporary support for the vocals, for example, in the chorus with some carrying elements that stand out from the good basic beat and signal to the listener that a new chapter in the song is coming. You need to create a slightly larger arc of suspense. This will make the already good song even better. But I must emphasize, this is just my opinion. Best regards, Manuela.
Excellent work. It has been a very well crafted vocal line of course, but you have done a very good attempt, in a way that the whole thing is of professional quality. Well done
Best regards, Anthony
Ok, so I'm listening on a laptop with headphones, but I think the vocals are in a different key from the muzic? I like the simplicity of the muzic, doesn't take away from the mellow vibes, and the rain sound effects make me imagine a love sick puppy in the window asking "am I crazy...for you"? :-)
oh yeah I'm feeling this needs some more added to the beat like a little play with a trap beat hat to mix it up on the breakdown. I really like the singing to.
sounds right!
if i might make a suggestion, mix wise i found some of the high-end a bit harsh and had to turn down the volume a little (using headphones). normally the opposite is the case and i have to turn the volume up a little.
but here i could already tell by looking at the waveform it might be loud :D
also there seems to be some distortion noticeable, the signal probably clipped?
