Thank you much Rita, Nirvana is still my favourite Band. I listen to them every day and i´m always trying to do a shameless copy of his voice :) hope he will smile in heaven.
Another good one from you. The mixing does need a little work, but it's all pretty easy fixes. Mainly just bring the sub-bass down a little in the mix. It's loud enough that it kind of makes everything a little muddy. Other than that, it's really not bad.
Your voice in this one is very reminiscent of Mike Doughty. Especially at the 2:00 mark to the end. That's pretty impressive.
You definitely have a stand out-style here at Looperman. Keep it up, man.
i have huge difficulties with mixing, never owned monitor boxes. I do everything with headphones. I´m now saving up for really good ones. I hope with time and better equip i get better results. I love that the community will help me with next project. This is all just demo to show people that i can do some stuff . I love the fact that you name dropping artist to compare my voice. i had to google Mike Doughty :) I explore more and more music with your help. Thaks V
Massive. Your voice at times reminded me of a cross between Mike Peters of the Alarm, and Rob Birch of the Stereo MC's. All in all really good production, and A good Ear Worm as you Germans would describe a song you keep playing over and over in your head. Also, the spatial mix was amazing and there was a Bground vocal that made me think I was starting to hear voices for the first time, so well done again.
thank you very much cruchethus. i had to smile alot with the part that you hearing voices :) my mission is to show people what life is with certain mental issues. I use my retardation as a weapon now to spread a message. Never heard of Mike Peters had to goole it now i´m in Love and a huge fan of him. im only 29 and i can learn a lot from the past thanks crucerhus for recommendation him.
PS
You've become an integral part within our community and we've become good friends, keep sharing your style and being you, just like the rest of you all, just be you, who's laugh now Lu, all the haters that didn't like you, well it's you we listen to, we don't KNOW them losers
thank you very much dimestop. i had to learn a few things in the last months. i was afraid to upload my music. But this community helped me alot to gain more confidence in that what i´m doing. I only played in bands and never sang. This community allows me to produce my own songs as an solo artist. Thank you for all the inspiring ideas.
Wow Lu, your voice, bro I could listen to you all day, I am very lucky, no we are all so lucky here to have you bring
your wonderful style to us. This is much more laid back, the music and beat match your vox one hundred percent the laid back feel yeh, but there is a mystery hidden your vox portray this, excellent favd and downloaded
hey BLu, more conjure music! love the beat-and-drone, it’s really entrancing - the prowler bass is so loose and electric and fucking dark - and the raw conviction in the vox really nails it. i dig the mix a lot, it does not call for sheen.
Thank you very much xstrokes. I really love your voice work too. I hope there will coming more. There is so much joy in the world and sheen is fuck up but he knows how to party.
Thank you Doom :) This mix is weird, done just with headphones because im on vacation. I really saw your beautifeul Thread in the forum. I tried for so many times to get acess into the forum. But maybe the dont like bananas. I neeeeed help with mix. S.O.S
Nice work - a little less on the edge but still very fresh and original, great vocal performance and lyric and wonderful synth lines in a rhythm that has slow tango kind of swing to it. I'd like to experiment with some glitch on the bongo/ congo drums that come in but that might mess it up. Love everything I am hearing from you : )
thank you very much for the idea. Last track i really liked your glitch stuff, but i dont know how. I tried to used some gates and filters with lfo, but sounded like garbage. I would like to hear a glitched thing. I dont know how to do. Maybe you could glitched some things :)
Enorme pista amigo BananaLu.
So I just Listened once, and now I am back again to really in-depth understand what U did here. I am a huge fan of the esoteric. This is a great creative track bar none. It's Schizo but in a very controlled perfectly arranged way. You rap in a drunken rage-like way but perfectly recorded to the grounded trap musical score. The arrangements are a huge deal in my own work, and in yours, you have nailed it. You have created controlled contrived chaos. I love that. Not since ,,, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0P8nCeweu9w
have I been this excited about a tune? looking forward to what you bring to the table in the future. The pressure is on now ;-)
Thank you very much crutheus, all the things you wrote are true. Why its sounds so schizo, because i dont play. Im really retarted and i was fck drunk while i recorded. I'm on a hula hula vacation right now. But i record in my Hotel room. There will be something coming soon.
Like ValveDriver said I think this style compliments your voice really well, I love your vocal work on this.
Your mix/master is so clean too! And I'm impressed you got that NI Rickenbacker plugin sounding so good. Even though it's a well-made sample library I can never get it to sound how I'd like it to, but you definitely seem to have it all figured out.
thanks SpeakUpProd. yeah this discribes my style of music. The beat and vocals are like enemies in my mind. Most of singers, i hear just let the beat win. But not me Sir. I´m inspired by Joe Cocker Or even fck Beyonce. You have to lead the song or you loose the fight :)
Thank you very muchioncewas. My Voice is like melancholic for that because it really happend that day. I wrote this Song in end august 21 and 2nd septmeber my relation. I wasn´s sad that day... just pure anger and frustration. I´m make honest music, hope you all can hear it.
PS Banana, moonwalk is like a kick in the teeth to any Street dancer :))) that's a made up media term, they played on, based on Jackos performance in Berlin I think, there's no moon and there no walking, lots of sliding and lots of backward, street dancers back-glide, side-slide, circle-glide, Jacko learnt from Jeffrey Daniel ,(shalamar),but it was first performed in the early 1950's, smaller strides though and was called levetating them, I may not be able to teach anybody about music production etc but can teach the truth about dance
fuck yeahh I think you know your stuff :) I think you care a lot about dancing. That is great. When i´m in London again we have to meet. I´m working on a crazy concept. I was touring a lot in comedy Clubs and they got some crazy dancers. Once I was on stage with them, the move like hell. I danced more Joe Coker on LSD. I have a small visuall concept of music and dance. maybe you can help make it bigger.
Hey CinCoCent thank very ...you are righty right...im 4 years in this forum...i uploaded some weird stuff and deleted it... i wasn´t ready. Now in 2021 i quit my job and travelling around europe and asia and doing music, nothing public just fucked up blues bars and underground clubs with a few people in it. i love music and i´m just warming up. Got a Something weird in my mind and i think the world needs a wake up after all this feeling like house prison shit. I will continue shoot my voice at drunken people at bars...but i fell i should record more.

Didn't like it at first, but grew on me. Popular music has been a bit emotionless lately.
