i like this track. it has that acoustic lovely feel and then the reggae feel as well and not for getting the hot flow u got over it. well done sir! respect :)
Thank you fam, the vocal is Final Outlaw by the way. Beat is me, it's dropping on his album in a couple of months. Check out my other track Floating Castle, he's on that too with another heavyweight underground guy from the US called Niles. I'm still arranging the vocal on that one tho, it's all over the place right now.
Killed it man! Pretty sick. I dig your flows. Im not usually into the UK accent when it comes to rapping but I dig this. You should send this pella my way and I would like to take a stab at a remix. That would be great! If you could send it to conan_swanson@yahoo.com
I only made it today and I don't think I want to hand out the acca just yet. Think I can make a bit of cash with that hook at some point so I may have to keep it close to my chest! The rap is so simple right now that I think I need to sort out the wordplay a little, make it more interesting. It was pretty much a free style so it's very basic at the minute.
You're first in-line for a remix tho mate, once it's done and dusted I'll get you a copy, just remind me sometime.
Do you want the rap or the hook too? Let me know.
Nice one for the kind words and the review tho fam, appreciated as always.
Well done through and through. Great drive to it and great to hear when your working out. I easily could imagine a six or seven minute version of this. Look forward to hearing more. Really digging your talent.
Hey thanks man, cheers for taking the time to say so. Check out the track I posted today if you have time man. Called "Public Enemy" people really seem to be digging that one. Rap is really simple, but it works. I'll be keeping an eye out for more of your stuff man.
yo dude i am feeling this joint!!!this is a dope track man!!!its a fv for me without a dout!!!didnt notice if it ws for dl yet.so when you completely finished hit me up with the quickness.im snatchn joints here on the loop for my own personal loopylands 2010 greatest hits cd!!!actually working on the 3rd cd now...lol!!lot of dope tracks here!!!an this ones making the cut!!!pc fam!!an keep up the great work!!
Wow - I should piss you off more often (intentionally or otherwise) if you're going to transmute it into something like this (not really - joking). But, wow! This is my favorite from you hands down.
There is a subtle West African sensibility floating throughout this (whispers of Habib Koite's guitar) one that's absolutely gorgeous, especially in conjunction with your voice (honestly, I've had trouble interfacing with your music specifically because of autotune - Dude, you don't need it). They lyrics are both meaningful and powerful, and your delivery is fantastic.
Have to favorite this one, as it really is that good on so many levels.
Half of my friends are African so they must be rubbing off on me somehow! Haha! This is the first final vocal on my stuff up here, the autotune is usually something I put on my guide tracks for times sake.
Thank you for the kind words man, takes a big man to say something like that after the war of words we had last night. So much love and respect to you fam.
NIce brutha. Who needs autotune anyway? That shizz is already played out. I prefer the all natural way of things (kinda) when it comes to singing. Autotune does not have a soul, we do. And that's where the true beauty comes from. Other than that I like it man. I'm glad you went the positive route instead of the negative one. Negativity is the last thing you and I need right now. I like the hook and the beat is sick. Keep me updated when you finish this one up...One...Blume :)
Yeah, energy is energy at the end of the day. Just depends how you channel it really. Sounds a bit new age for me, but it's true in music. I like the singing too man, MCing and singing are things I'm really only just scratching the surface of, but It's really nice to be able to put a hook to a beat as you're making it. Helps with the concept allot.
just my opinion but the scratches in the intro screwed it up. It sounded PERFECT with out em. One of the bests of looperman and maybe... oneday... just the best. haha

just remembered this, simplicity is sometimes the best
Thanks for the review mate, check out Blacklisted and Tooth for a Tooth, think you will like them too. I'll keep an eye out for more of your tracks. Cheers.
There a Nu Rave band from London right? I've only heard one of there tracks, in the video its a guy in a Bear suit, but he's a bad bear. Pretty cool track too.
Damn, it gets better. I won't mind having looppack of this :D Defenetly would do a remix of that. But it sound quite perfect to me, so it would be hard to make it better.
this reminds me of pendulum. at first i wasnt sure if I liked it just by the intro. once other elements of the song kicked in though, i quickly fell in love. great track
Cool man, I took down the orig description which was saying I was going for a Pendulum style sound. So that's good news. Will have this one finished in the next few days.
