I also think that it could need a little bit of variation - Nothing special, but some more piano or guitar tunes that support the Main melody, you know?
However all in one it's still a pretty good track! Keep it up!

some open hats , percs would give it more rhythm and maybe another instrument to spice things up a little.

I'd like to add a guitar of sorts to back the backup melody but I don't have access to anything of that nature.
The track is supposed to be basic. The vocals I haven't added are supposed to be the main melody and the focus.
