I like what you got so far. The bass hits hard and the melodic sounds are great. A great start to a melodic, chill-step track. I can't wait to hear the final version!
Great track!
I also think that it could need a little bit of variation - Nothing special, but some more piano or guitar tunes that support the Main melody, you know?
However all in one it's still a pretty good track! Keep it up!
Sorry I never got back to you. Busy times, ya know?
Thank you for the feedback. Unfortunately, this project has died like many others but if I ever revisit it I will look back to this comment for advice.
Great track, I think those reverse cymbals could be a tad louder, and the first reverse cycmbal at the intro I would stretch it out longer to help build it up a lil more. But love the vibe !!!!
Thank you! That's what I was going for :) Yeah, I'd like to maybe get some vocals on it like some deep clean rap stuff or whatever. Thank you for your comment :)
This isn't really my style of music, so I can't really say if it's fitting or not. But, taking it for what it is, it's pretty good.
All of the levels sound good to me. Everything sits well in the mix. The only thing I would have done differently is use the Stereo Shaper on the sub, with all 4 sliders set right around 6.0 db. That would still keep it mostly centered, but spread the edges out just a little bit to fill in the space between the drums and the piano. Speaking of piano, the delay reverb and stereo effects are good. Nice and dynamic.
I know you said you plan on making some adjustments, and I don't know what they are, so I'll suggest this anyhow...
at the 1:08 mark, I would introduce some pads, or strings in the background to fill it out a little bit more. Right now, with just the drums, bass and piano, it gets repetitive. It's a strong foundation for what could be a much larger piece.
But, then again, I don't listen to hip-hop, and I don't know what you're going for, so take my opinions for what they are.
Overall, excellent work. Keep it up.
Take care.

Sorry I haven't replied sooner to this comment. Firstly, thank you for your in-depth and thought-out response. I'll give what you mentioned a try, If you've got any other suggestions for my newer tracks that'd well appreciated as well. I'm not sure how to mix and master yet so I'm trying to get advice from folks who do, so like I had said before, any other tricks or methods you know that you'd be willing to share, just swing over to my profile where I have my email and send me a message. Thanks for everything :)
This has a huge sound, very kinda stately which is a good thing, it's quite beautiful! indeed. Overall A GREAT! track which takes me on the most wonderful! musical journey. I like it and it's a fave...Keep up the wonderful work. Kudos
Cool, chilled out vibe, atmospheric and not crushed by a limiter or too much compression. That helps set the mood as far as production goes. Too short, need more, lol!

some open hats , percs would give it more rhythm and maybe another instrument to spice things up a little.
great track ,keep up the good work
I'd like to add a guitar of sorts to back the backup melody but I don't have access to anything of that nature.
The track is supposed to be basic. The vocals I haven't added are supposed to be the main melody and the focus.
