I like it...good continuity with a progressive ambience...simple fact is men have a lot to answer for and women have been shouldering that burden since the year dot.....all in favour of a reversal of power...raise their hands..lol...damn we'd be a mess of henpecked dudes then..hehe..great track, artistic and cool!..cheers planet :)
Hey MrFila..nice to meet you....just when I thought this place was being overrun with young electronic hip hop dudes(not that there's anything wrong with that)....somebody walks through the front door and restores my faith in good musical appreciation!..lol...Love this groove,it's got all the snappy rhodes sounds and panache' of Miles Davis's 'Bitches Brew'...way cool and a pleasure to the ears..great work...cheers planet :)
Thanks for the review and comments on my tracks - I still have a couple of Mile's orginal (vynils) When I was in my youth a long time ago lol He was tough to listen to but that was my POPs main man-- Again thanks for listening - will keep on trying to keep it real. PS I got two hip hopers here!!! LOL
Nice...
Diggin this track big time.
It has swing and attitude.
Build some similar sketches and Seek out Slapjohnson for a collaboration. He is like the best sax player in the world and he is right here on looperman.
Smokin stuff.

Thanks for the review!! Apollo what a great place- had the opportunity to get there quite a few times back in the day! Did not know who (Slap) was but listened to a couple of his tunes today!! Man he can kick!!(Memphis Horns) It is amazing all this talent on looperman!! Fila
Man this deep.
There is a beautiful vibe going here.
I applaud you for putting this together, especially the cassette document elements. Technology may march on, but there are still gems captured on tape that need to be shared.
I can not tell you how humbled I am to receive a mention of being an inspiration. As you mentor youth, I hope to share an often overlooked point of interest. The famous Martin Luther King "I Have A Dream" speech was first delivered in Detroit at Cobo Hall. The speech was verbatim with the historic Washington DC March for Freedom speech.
WJR radio Detroit has the Cobo Hall speech in their archives.
I mention this because I have recently viewed a documentary about MLK where the narrator states he had disregarded his prepared notes in DC and ad-libed the Dream speech on the spot.
The Cobo speech has a special quality to it. As Cobo is a much more intimate venue than the vast Washington Mall. Worth seeking out. Either way, I am brought to tears with even the suggestion of Martins Dream.

The mojo is definitely working here. You were able to capture the rustic tone and grit of the slide parts quite well, without loops stepping all over the natural sound. Combining the two is a difficult line for many to walk, and you seem to be comfortable therein. The variations on the twelve-bar lay were a welcome change-up too, since the simplicity of the recording needs development the further on you get. An admirable effort -- keep it up!
makes me want to grab my harmonica and start jammin along side ya on the porch. Great job especially with just loops. Keep the foot tappin porch music comin!

Man..real nice groove goin on..very original..are ya playin any instruments on it..if not alot of loops....that guit ..keyboard,horns combo real smooth..Peace Dvibe
Yeah...this is cool. I got you beat by 4 years on the age tho. lol. You did a great job on this one with loops.
If you get a chance, take a listen to my Voodoo Swamp Blues song. It is really slow and all slide from me. I entered it into the John Lennon song contest. Won't hear how I did until March..
This tune you have here is pretty hot I think,
Nice sounding jazz type of track. Good organ playing and the rhythm really moves.
Great sound effects that go along with the title.
Sounds like you put it all together just right.
Good job.
What a busy groovy track this is. foot tapping stuff. It gives me the impression of hundreds of people scurrying around like ants trying to get out of the building. Aptly named "fire drill"
Yessiree. This requires propuh eats. I can smell the chicken and corn pones cooking. Collards and backstrap and some good ol toe tappin'! Love this love this!
