I love this. A very beautiful, unassuming piece of musical magic. Seems more rock than funk to me, but that's a small matter.

This is lovely....

like a peek into your soul.

Thanks for that and for posting this.

It is wonderful - simply, elegantly wonderful.

I'm liking this one! The whole mix is really unique, with so many subtle elements. I like the drums a lot, they've got a bit of a tribal vibe. Very unusual use of synths, it's fun to hear! I think I know what you mean about the "messy head", sometimes I feel that way too. Nice work, thanks for sharing!

Sometimes its far too easy to keep adding to a song when there is no real need. This song is a good example of that. Your voice and the guitar compliment each other beautifully. No need to over egg the pudding!.....Unless you really like eggs. Lovely song. thanks.

If it were me, I would have brought the drums and percussion up just a touch, maybe 2.5-3.5db. The synths are great. I dig the progressive method happening here. Im totally jealous about the ACID 6 tho. Im stuck with 5.0 build 532, and I want to move forward, but no money...yet. This is a solid track. definately techno. A+

Great song! I like the way it leads in with the piano and is all soft and pretty, Then turns into a jam session so to speak. I think the drums and guitar need to be a touch louder in the mix tho. Otherwise, well constructed. I like it very much.

To my ears this definately has a folk edge to it. Great voice and style of song. The simple mix works so well. Do you perform this live?

You people are so awesome. Thanks for the very sweet feedback on the song. Of course, it was written for an ex who totally broke my heart. Isn't that always the way? :) I've thought of performing the song at a local open mic, but I just haven't done so yet. My days of live performing have really slowed down since the band broke up in the year 2000. Take care all.

Haha...I'm only kidding I wouldn't know Southern rock from a square dance..people get so touchy about which genre's which I just listen to the music..this is a solid moving groove that's for sure not as long as I'd like it to be but the turnaround is great and very enjoyable.....cheers planet

I like the way this track releases...very minimalistic and sparse...it's always a temptation to overdo things...almost tidal in the subtle changes you've introduced...the end was a bit abrupt I thought a simple fade out might have worked better....or some chimes....excellent work..it was very relaxing..cheers planet

What an excellent idea about the chimes. I will give this a try and go with a long fade on this little piece. Thanks so much!

It's a good song, but we have something to discuss. I am from Texas, and I used to think all electronic music was techno, but I learned. This would fall under more funk, or something like that. Rock maybe. Electronic dance music (EDM) usually has a four on the floor beat, that means a bass kick on every fourth beat, and a bass stab in between the bass kicks along with an open hi hat. There is also Drum n Bass which is an exception, but I'm too lazy to explain that more. If I were you I would look into genres and learn them all, you can be one of the few people in Texas that actually knows their EDM genres.

Great track!

Thanks for your suggestions, DaMann. If only I had time to investigate every genre out there! It seems like someone's inventing a new one every day. I'm glad you liked the track, however. You've posted a LOT of tunes out there. I'll check them out when I have a little more time. Happy holidays.

As stated above, Techno is a safe category. Very smooth and flowing. Easy on the ears! Keep it up!

it's groovy for sure. Nice song structure, and nice use of good sounding samples/loops.

Groove-tastic work indeed.

LOL, well I think you are safe with Techo or simply Electronic. Has a solid beat going on with nice breaks in it. Experimental and wonderfully insane at the same time. enjoyed it. Happy Holidays.

I Love this track, it's not Trance, but it grooves and has a good rock/jazz type of feel going on to it. Was sort of waiting for alanis morissette to jump out singing and screaming at any moment. That or joe satriani to start in on some lead guitar work. This is one hell of a solid grooving track. Love it!!

This isn't trance. I don't how to classify this, I only make electronic music.

Cool. I'm not very good at genres. How should I classify this?
