I like the melodic feel you're going for here. Lead tone is pretty tasty. Backing guitar track brings the quality down quite a bit. Too much room sound? Was this micd up or does it have a lot of added reverb? Either way, the writing is just fine. It's the room sound and tone of the backing guitar that let's this one down. Gotta say again, though, that lead sounds great. A bit squawky in the beginning, but harmonics are hard to tame with the gain cranked.
